Teaching our children at home can be hard. Especially when you have to teach classes you know nothing about. For me this is PE. Charlie loves Basketball and Soccer. I think we should check out a Golf Classes.
I will be registering Charlie for these teams. But I knew Charlie needed to branch out into other Sports. As I thought about what Charlie could take I remember my nephew used to play Golf at Charlie’s age.
I plan on taking Charlie this week to a golf course and seeing what he thinks of Golf which would be a class Charlie and David can take together. if you are you a parent who is looking for an activity to teach kids during Covid-19? If so then perhaps Golf is your answer.
Golf is a great sport to teach kids which can keep them busy while introducing a new skill thatthey can carry with them for many years. Not only does Golf come with great health and social benefits, it can also be played while maintaining social distancing and can be played until an old
age which makes it an attractive hobby for a parent to introduce their kids to.
Not only that but what else makes golf a great sport for kids to get into is that it is such a versatile sport. It can be played at home by purchasing equipment such as a net and mat, at the local driving range or on an actual golf course.
Additionally, golf is a great way to keep kids busy because it can be played regularly while also taking several hours to play. For example an average round can be around 4 hours in length and home practice equipment can ensure endless hours of fun and practice can be had too.
The easiest way to get started for kids is to either purchase home equipment or go to a local driving range and work on key activities and practice drills which focus on improving skill level such as increasing driver distance which in turn can improve a golfers handicap.
If you’re looking for a PE class for kids that involves golf then some different activities that you can teach range from teaching how to grip and swing the golf club before progressing onto individual activities such as practice drills for driving, chipping and putting. From here it is
possible to turn practice drills into mini games and challenges which can be a great way to keep kids both busy and entertained while learning.
Overall as you can see golf is a great activity for a home PE class during Covid-19! It also offers the flexibility to be played outdoors with long term benefits. To get started on your golf teaching journey you can find a mixture of the best golf equipment and how to guides on our website,
