Children's Book Reviews

I wanted to share a new children’s Graphic Novel with you called Gnome and Rat: Time to Party!: (A Graphic Novel) by Lauren Stohler (Author). I received the Graphic Novel in exchange for this review. Inside this post is my affiliate links. If you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage off the items you purchase.

I wanted to review Gnome and Rat: Time to Party! because it is a Graphic Novel and this is the one genre of books Charlie and his friend Bradley will read. David also likes Graphic Novels and I thought the story might bring David and Charlie closer together.

Not only Bradley but a lot of Charlie’s other friends including my niece Lily and my nephew Jason like graphic novels. I thought this book might get all the kids off electronics for a while and get them to read a book. I’ m excited to let you know this novel did just that. I would like to thank the Lord and the Author for creating this awesome novel.

I wish you could see the cover of the book and everything happening on the cover. Be prepared because every time you look at the cover you see something new. Here is a fun tip for you the book we have is just one book in a series of 3 books.

I can’t wait to get Charlie the other two books as well and I will also purchase the entire set for my niece and nephew to share. Before you ask what about Charlie’s friends well they can borrow our books as long as they bring them back.

The illustrations in Gnome and Rat: Time to Party!: (A Graphic Novel) use such vivid colors that will catch your eye and tell a story without using words which the Author has included. Charlie wanted me to tell you Gnome and Rat Time to Party! is a chapter book. You can read the book all at once or use it as a bed-time story and read a chapter or two each night.

David also asked me to let you know Gnome and Rat Time To party! reminded David of the Comic Books he used to read as a child. The more I thought about that the more I could see how the book does look like a comic book.

My family enjoyed the story and all the characters. My family thought all the antics Gnome and Rat participated in was a lot of fun. I wanted to let you know Gnome and Rat Time to Party! is easy enough for children from 8+up to read on there own. Although I believe younger children would enjoy looking at the pictures and would like the story if you take the time to read it to them.

Charlie asked me to also let you know in the back of the book the Author shows us how to make a Birthday Pizza you might want to check out. In the meantime if you will excuse my family we will be making this Pizza this evening for dinner. Although we plan on leaving a lot of the ingredients off our Pizza like Tuna Fish and Gummy Fish which you may want to try.

About the book:
