(A Lacey Fitzpatrick and Sam Firecloud Mystery Book 1) is the first book in this series, and there are over 25 books for you to get lost in if you like Paranormal Mystery books which I do at times. How about you? The story in a way reminded me of shows I watch on tv and I believe this could be a weekly tv show.
Ghost Walk is the first book in the series covering the story of the developing relationship between the two partners and promises more mysteries to come. The Author has created Lacey an ex-cop who hasn’t quite come to terms with that. Sam is someone who can sense dead people and tries to help them cross-over reminding me of the Medium Theresa Caputo on TV.
Lacy and Sam meet at a crime scene and eventually decide to work together. Before you dive into the novel I wanted to let you know there is 25 books in the series and these books can be read as stand-alone novels. I enjoyed seeing how Lacey knows how to track down the clues, and with inside information coming from beyond, Lacy has the pieces to the puzzle that local law enforcement lacks.
Sam has learned to keep his gift of helping dead people transition under wraps, but Sam has an undeniable urge to help the dead who cry out to him. Sam and Lacy partnering up with Lacey, might be just what Sam needs to help him do that. Here is a fun fact about Sam Firecloud,he is a half-Navajo man who communicates with ghosts which I had said earlier.
Sam is very private and soft-spoken, and I believe Sam is going to take some time to get to know. Lacey Fitzpatrick and come to trust her even though she is an ex-LAPD detective, who could be considered Sam’s opposite. Lacy is all about facts, excels in research, and is good about fitting pieces together in cold case files.
We learn Lacy is not quite sure what to make of Sam at first and would rather write him off as a quack. Then Lacy becomes a believer from what Sam gleaned from a cold case file she had been working on before she left the force. Lacey further tests Sam’s abilities when he asks her if she would like to accompany him on another case he has been contacted about. With her interest piqued she follows along with more preparation for documenting his findings.
About the book:
