GF & AF Festival The Towel Says Let Them Eat Cake

GF & AF Gluten Free Let Them Eat Cake

As we walked around the GF & AF Festival this past weekend there was a Booth that David fell in love with and so did Charlie. As the people at it was so friendly and the decorations was so cute. Plus the items they had inside the booth was so yummy that you didn’t want to stop snacking. SO inside the booth was a Towel that said “Let them eat cake”. Which we did again an again.

GF & AF Abundant Love

But what was funny was at this Booth there was Cupcakes they had on display and not to eat. But as Debbie and David discussed the booth. Charlie handed them a business card of mine and introduced himself as a Blogger. Which he is. And low and behold just like the towel said “let them eat cake.” They did as they let Charlie try out one of their Cupcakes.

And before Debbie and I could ask him for a bite he had already swallowed the cupcake and told us how good it was. And that we had missed out. But that was OK as we had been sampling items all day and I didn’t need anymore Cupcakes but it sure did look yummy.  So I just looked at the towel that said ‘let them eat cake” and thought that is ok as there is plenty in the other booths.

So today I would like to say if you have a child to teach them what you do and let them become a part of your business and your helper as you just never know where it will lead or what you might be able to get out of using them and teaching them. Because I am hesitant a lot of times to approach and talk to people but Charlie isn’t.

So this week I am going to make it a point to meet at least one new person a week not tell them what I do but ask about them and what they do and how I can help them. Because I know by doing this I will also be making friends and building my business. Which I need to do daily and plan on.

Now you might say how will I do this as I do not get out that much and that is true. But I do go up to my sons school multiple times a day. And there is people there I should meet especially the moms and dads in Charlie’s classroom so Charlie has friends to invite over. Plus there is the staff and sometimes they need help.

But not only that I am online all day everyday and I can start to visit blogs and comment on other’s posts and just say Hello and this would lead me to new friends. Which I can always use. So today I challenge you to make one new friend.

What would you say is the hardest item you have done for your business? Has it worked? If not what would you do to make it work and how would you do it?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
