David came home from work early last night and there wasn’t anything for us to watch on TV. I went and grabbed a book I had been wanting to read and I handed David my DVD for Vikings: Valhalla: The Complete First Season .
David was so excited when he looked at the cover and saw the word #Vikings and he couldn’t wait to show the DVD to Charlie. Charlie called his best friend Bradley who came over to watch the DVD with David and Charlie.
David was surprised to fin out the show features Jeb Stuart one of his favorite actors. Charlie thought it was cool to find out 100 years had passed and new hero’s have arrived to create their own destiny. In this series there is 8 shows and the guys can watch one a day or binge watch them over the weekend giving me plenty of time to myself.
I did watch a little bit of the show and I liked finding out there was a girl Viking and she is a bada….
The story showcases how tensions between the Vikings and the English royals reach a bloody breaking point and as the Vikings themselves clash over their conflicting Christian and pagan beliefs, allowing us to learn more about Christian beliefs.
These three Vikings begin an epic journey that will take them across Oceans and through battlefields, from Kattegat to England and beyond, as they fight for survival and glory. If Charlie had still been #Homeschooling full time this show would have been a wonderful addition to his #Homeschool History Class.
