We may be going back to my dads this week and I wanted to find something fun to do with Charlie. I think we’ll visit Gathering Place Tulsa’s Riverfront Park. I think Charlie would enjoy the park as there is so much to do.
The Gathering Place is a riverfront park in Tulsa, Okla. It’s like no, other park around because it’s 11 parks in one. Everyone is welcome to come and play. Gathering Place doesn’t charge a admission.
The Gathering Place is the perfect place for me to come and walk because this park covers 100 acres. While I’m walking Charlie can play to his hearts content.
Gathering Place has open spaces for playing basketball which Charlie is going to love. Charlie may not want to do check anything else out. Or we can play other other sports, or bring Charlie’s Skateboard and Charlie can Skate in the Skate park.
But the biggest draw is its variety of “worlds,” including:
- Volcanoville
- Fairyland Forest ( I may get inside here and never ever leave)
- Ramble Sensory Garden
- The Reading Tree
- Cottonwood Lawn
- Charlie’s Water Mountain (I can’t wait to show my Charlie this)
- Picnic Grove
- Skywalk Forest
- Land of the River Giants (David will like this I believe.)
- Spiral Connector
- Chapman Adventure Playground

CAN I BRING FOOD & WATER WITH ME?
Yes, parkgoers are welcome to bring outside food with them, however, no glass bottles, outside grills or outside alcohol are allowed on the premises.
There are also multiple water fountains and refillable bottle stations placed throughout the Park.
