It’s Funny How the Little Things Make Us the Happiest!! Because yesterday David and I went to Toy’s R Us to put Charlies Christmas and Birthday presents in Lay A Way. And we knew that our landlord was supposed to have some painters over to paint the trailer. But neither David or I was holding our breathe.
As we had been dealing with our landlord getting things fixed on the trailer for a couple months. Only the gentleman that was working on other parts of the trailer wouldn’t show up for days. And he was the one who was supposed to paint it as well. So finally our landlord became fed up and brought in a paint crew to do it. And he fired the other gentleman who ended up stealing some items from our landlord.
So Please be careful who you hire if you need work done on your home. As this also happened with my sister twice when she was having her own home worked on. And one of the handymen she hired actually took money from her. And she didn’t have prof of it and that money is gone. As well as the supplies she purchased.
So by the time we returned yesterday from our errands the paint crew Tommy had hired was here and had half the carport done. And the entire back of our house was painted. And I said real quietly not expecting the painters to do it. That they could also paint the front door for me. And they said they would and also asked if I wanted the back door painted. And they was kind enough to do both of them for me. And having the painters paint the doors makes me feel like I have a new home.
And as much as I like how they painted the trailer and the color Tommy picked out. I am much more happy that they painted the front door. And it isn’t white anymore with red sand all over it from the yard. And like I told David now he doesn’t have to buy me a new door. As I have a nice door and I love love love it.
So once again it may not be something huge that has happened to you. But something small that would be inconsequential to anyone else. But means the world to you. Like the door getting painted for me. And I would like to ask you to come share something with me that means the world to you.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
