  1. I was hoping for an opportunity to not only create a backlink. But also to investigate the possibility of having your ad on one or both of my websites. I specialize in trying to help parents learn how to Bully-Proof their children. I have a main site and a Blog.

  2. True Self Confidence

    True self confidence is without a doubt the number one trait that any child can have that will help them to avoid becoming the target of a bully. There are two different types of Self Confidence. True self confidence and false self confidence. One will help your child to avoid becoming a target. The other will almost assuredly cause them to become a target. So it is important to make this one of the focal points in any anti bullying effort on your part.

    In Bully Proofing Your Child, I describe in detail how and what as a parent you need to know about helping your child to develop “True Self Confidence”. I show you what “To Do” and what “Not To Do”. Unfortunately this is not as intuitive as you might think. The advice that I offer is based upon 60+ years of experience with the issue of bullying.

    So when you start to plan your Anti Bullying efforts do not forget about the issue of Self Confidence.
    Some additional benefits of self confidence are;

    Being more attentive
    Getting better grades in school
    Performing better in athletics
    Being more popular
    Higher level of responsibility
    More empathetic
    Helps to manage their fears
    Maintain a positive mental attitude
    Better able to withstand the challenges of peer pressure
    More pride in their physical appearance

    Here is one more benefit to increasing a child’s self confidence. We are gifted with something called neuroplasticity. This is the ability to form new neurons in our brains (no matter what our age) and we can change how the neurons in our brains connect, thus creating new thinking patterns. When you create new thinking patterns. You create a different emotional response to situations. You will create a confidence based and emotional appropriate response to any situation.

    So, as you can see, there are a number of positive things about having a high level of self confidence.
