Always Room for Cupcakes (Delilah Horton Book 1)

One day I was be-bopping along jamming to the music in my head while wondering if my thighs could handle grabbing a cupcake on the way home. The next thing I knew, my entire world crashed and burned.

I used to wake up at night in a sweat, crying because I’d dreamt my husband was cheating on me, or he hated me, and resented our kids. He’d always hold me close and tell me it was all just a dream, that he loved me and our family and he’d never let us go.

He was a f*cking liar.

Now I spend my days taking photos of scum just like him, trying to be a champion for others who are being taken advantage of by the losers in our town, and my nights being a single mom to my beautiful twins.

I’ve got great friends who always have my back and a sexy, mysterious motorcycle man who keeps showing up when I need him. Things are finally starting to look up. And one thing’s for sure… There’s always room for cupcakes.

Book Smart (Work For It Book 3) by Amanda Pennington & Smartypants Romance

Melanie Hirsch is tired of watching life pass her by…

I’ve spent the last few years watching my dreams of a writing career and true love fade away, settling for a dead-end job and denying my feelings for my best friend – until I find a list of dating advice for single women to “find a husband” in the 1950s. I decide to experiment: try out the 1950s advice on my 21st-century dating pool and write about the results. If love is timeless, some of the dating advice still holds value. Maybe my experiment will launch my writing career. Maybe I’ll get over my best friend and meet someone new. Either way, I’m done watching from the sidelines.

Cameron Whitacre can’t wait forever…

I’ve spent the last few years in love with my best friend, hoping she’ll notice my friendly overtures have more than friendly intentions – but before I realize what’s happening, she declares me her wingman for a dating experiment. This idea could launch her writing career, so I’m trying to be supportive. But her experiment turns my life into a desperation-fueled dumpster fire. I need to show her how I feel without jeopardizing our friendship, all before she falls for someone else.

‘Book Smart’ is a full-length contemporary romance and can be read as a standalone. Book #3 in the Work For It series, Educated Romance World, Penny Reid Book Universe.

Girls with Scars (Walsh Warriors Book 1)

Nate: My life’s a mess. One sister’s in jail and the other ran off to Reno, leaving me a thousand bucks and an eviction notice for our apartment. Thankfully, I secure a work-study job at a local auto garage. All I gotta do is avoid child protective services until I’m eighteen, finish senior year, and snag a college basketball recruiter’s attention. No biggie, right? Then I meet Pen, my new boss’s beautiful, mysterious daughter…

Pen: Senior year’s just begun, but given how quiet things are so far, I’m optimistic I’ll finish the rest of high school unscathed. Then Nate Palmer, gorgeous basketball star, trips over my bag…and asks me if I’m new here. Evidently, he has no idea who I am, or what I’ve been through the last two years. Despite my undeniable attraction to him, I try to keep him at arm’s length. But Nate’s gentle, caring affection breaks through my emotional defenses. When old enemies resurface and threaten our budding relationship, I’m forced to decide: walk away from Nate for good to protect my fragile heart or reclaim those painful scars and finally heal.

Anchor (First to Fight Series Book 1)

From New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Nicole Blanchard comes a small-town military romantic thriller where a single dad will risk everything to rescue a woman in need.

He doesn’t know me, but he’ll die to save me.

Or at least, that’s the gist I get when I’m taken hostage by a psycho with a gun. He’d meant to take a little girl, but I couldn’t live with myself if I didn’t try to save her. Now I’m in her place instead and my captor is determined to blow it sky high unless his demands are met.

She doesn’t know me, but I owe her everything.

My daughter is my world. After I gave up my career as a Marine to move closer to be with her, I thought I would stay out of danger. And yet here I am diving right back into it.

The rush of adrenaline at a new mission is almost as enticing as the woman who saved my daughter. Getting distracted by her sharp wit and bravery is the last thing I should do, but I can’t help but be drawn to her despite the danger.

If we make it to morning, maybe I’ll work up the nerve to take the biggest risk of all…losing my heart.

Anchor takes place in the First to Fight series but may be read as a standalone.
