Freaky Friday

The Mommies Reviews

I remember as a young girl watching Freaky Friday with my girlfriends on our Friday Night Sleepovers. Then I was able to share Freaky Friday with Suzzane who loved the show just as much as I did. Now Charlie and I watch it together.

I can’t wait to let David know Artisan Theater is going to be putting on Freaky Friday as a play. Which we can go and watch as part of our Dram Club Field Trips this year in our Homeschool. As well as Fiddler on the Roof which I’ve never seen but have wanted to.

When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right again. By spending a day in each other’s shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another’s struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter.

Fiddler on the Roof Jr.

Jan 13 – Feb 11, 2023

Set in the little village of Anatevka, the story centers on Tevye, a poor dairyman, and his five daughters. With the help of a colorful and tight-knit Jewish community, Tevye tries to marry off his daughters and instill in them a sense of tradition in the face of growing anti-Semitism in Czarist Russia.
