The Mommies Reviews

Children always amaze me at how kind and caring they can be. Which is why I wanted to let you know about a FOURTH GRADER WHO ORGANIZES A COAT DRIVE AS HIS MOM’S 50th BIRTHDAY GIFT. I could see Suzzane and Charlie doing this. Would your children?

PITTSBURGH – At one Pittsburgh elementary school, kindness is at the heart of the school community. Every day, students show compassion and generosity, but sometimes, a student goes above and beyond.

Fourth grader Nicholas Marino found a special way to celebrate his mom’s 50th birthday. “He wanted to buy me a gift, and I told him the greatest gift of all is an act of kindness,” his mother shared. Taking that to heart, he proudly organized a coat drive to celebrate her milestone birthday, embracing the true spirit of giving.

“It’s wonderful for my son to be part of a school that encourages kindness,” she added. His enthusiasm for helping others was truly inspiring, reflecting the values teachers strive to instill in all students.

Beyond school, Nicholas continues to give back, regularly volunteering with his mom. Whether donating food to retirement homes, delivering meals to churches, or assisting those in need, his commitment to service shines.
