What would you like to have to eat today? Health permitting, go ahead and have any of your favorite foods and snacks. Because today is Eat What You Want Day.

Don’t forget Eat What You Want Day is definitely not a day for diets.  Its one single, solitary day in the year to go off your diet and eat something you really enjoy, set aside your dietary “No-No” list.

Today, you can splurge the tomorrow, it’s back to the diet. Its important to note that today is not intended to eat as much as you want. Rather, the goal is to eat something you otherwise wouldn’t have.

If your watching carbs or calories, simply keep within your limits by eating just a small amount of that favorite treat. Or if you don’t usually eat Desserts today is the day to have a bit or two of your favorite dessert.

People with allergies and/or medical conditions, may not be able to participate in this day and they shouldn’t risk there your health to participate in this day.

Charlie says if he could have anything he wanted for dinner he would like to have Hamburger Helper Crunchy Taco which I eat with him but David doesn’t.

David said he would like to have Chinese Food from a Restaurant that offers a Buffet and Charlie said he would like to go with David because he also likes Chinese Food. Me not so much.

For me I would chose the Chocolate Cake I used to make when Suzzie was here. Because I had both Meatloaf and Roast last week. Although, my moms Potato Salad and Deviled Eggs with my dads Fried Chicken would be yummy. Yes, before you ask I know how to make them all but they don’t taste the same as when my parents would make them for us.

Twilight Zone Day

Twilight Zone Day,... - Holidays That Might Get Overlooked | Facebook

Twilight Zone Day is a mysterious, weird, surreal and perhaps a little scary. We can think of many other adjectives, but you should get the picture. Every once in a while, we have a day like this and, today is designed to be that day.

Did you know The television show The Twilight Zone, was created, written and narrated by Rod Serling. The show premiered on October 1, 1959. The episodes were wildly popular, stretched the imagination, and captivated viewers. The show aired from 1959-1964.

Did you watch The Twilight Zone because Charlie and I don’t. Because this show scares the heck out of Charlie and I. But David and my dad like watching The Twilight Zone.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
