The Mommies Reviews

Good morning, welcome to our series sharing Food Holidays: January 27th, 2022. I wish I had known this morning was National Blueberry Pancake Day as I would have snagged Charlie and we would have taken Granny Sherry and Papa David to breakfast at I Hop because David Sr. loves all things Blueberries.

If they didn’t feel like going out to Breakfast this morning, then Charlie and I could have picked up the ingredients and made Pa Homemade Blueberry Pancakes which would have been the perfect recipe for Charlie to make in his Homeschool Cooking Class this morning.

National Blueberry Pancake Day comes on the 28th January, opening our eyes to the various ways in which Blueberries add taste to Cake delicacies like Pancakes and Hotcakes.

Why National Blueberry Pancake Day?
National Blueberry Pancake Day is celebrated as a means reminding, every one of the wonderful treats that can be enjoyed with Blueberries. A nutritious Fruit to associate with breakfast, mid-day, or evening snack.

Yearly marked on the 4th last day of the first month, National Blueberry Pancake Day marks the day where different Pancake varieties are prepared, depending on the preferences of the people partisan to that celebration. While some people would prefer their Blueberries integrated with Pancakes, others prefer Blueberries with Hotcakes, and others with Flapjack Cakes. As such, this has become a rather exciting fact that these different Cake varieties can be made sweeter as well as savory, and what better way to do this than with Blueberries!

This Cake delicacy challenges traditional recipes that were only made up of ingredients like ordinary Wheat Flour, Milk, Eggs, and adding both taste and nutritional value to the snack. Without altering the natural hue of Pancakes, Blueberries keep the snack fresh while at the same time ensuring that you reap the benefits of Minerals like Copper, Magnesium, and Vitamins K and C, all of which are contained in Blueberries.
