Welcome to our series sharing Food Holidays: December 11th, 2021. Today is National Noodle Ring Day. I don’t know about you but the only Noodle Ring I could think of is Chef Boyardee Spaghetti O. Would you like Chef Boyardee Spaghetti O with me and Charlie?
National Noodle Ring Day– is always on December 11th.
National Noodle Ring Day is a December Holiday that kids young and old have been impatiently awaiting for. Not!!
What would cooking be like without the Noodle ring? I don’t know about you, but I shudder to think about it. We are relieved that the Noodle Ring exists, so we can cook Noodle Rings in one recipe after another. Doesn’t it make sense that we honor the Noodle Ring with its own Holiday!?
Is the proper term “Noodle Ring” or “Ring Noodle”? We will let you make the call on this question.
Make sure you get your fill of Noodle Rings today.
History and Origin of National Noodle Ring Day:
We noodled around for a long time, trying to find information on National Noodle Ring Day but we found absolutely no information on this Holiday. Can you imagine that?
There was some reference to this as a “National Holiday” and most food related holidays are called “National”. However, we found no congressional records or presidential proclamation naming this a National Holiday.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
