My best friend Debbie was cleaning out her bookcases the other day and brought me a passel of cookbooks to look through. Debbie told me to pick out the ones I thought I would use. Then Debbie would pick the other’ Cookbook’s back up to take to Half-Price Bookstore to sale. Then Debbie could get other books.
This morning I browsed through the box and found a lot of Crock Pot Cookbooks including the Slow Cookers Cookbooks which are the same thing. Charlie and David know my Slow cooker as a Crock Pot because this is the name they grew up with.. Do you have a Crock Pot? If so do you call yours? A Crock Pot or Slow Cooker and why? The first cookbook I found I wanted was Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook Feasting with you Slow Cooker by Dawn J Ranck (Author), Phyllis Pellman Good (Author) which I can’t wait to show my sister and also my mother in law Sherry.
On our next movie night I can’t wait to make the recipe for Quick and Easy Nacho Dip which Charlie can prepare in his Homeschool Cooking Class. If my parents where here they would have wanted to make Old-Fashioned Gingerbread which I may make David and I. There are recipe inside the cookbook for Swiss Steak which Charlie hasn’t ever had and I may make this week for dinner. Would you like some?
When preparing dinner don’t worry about Desserts or breakfast because inside Fix-It and Forget-It Cookbook Feasting with you Slow Cooker are plenty of recipes for you to fix. The hard part will be deciding which ones to try first. Although any dessert with Chocolate is what I think we should start with. What about you?
