I would like to share a cookbook my best friend Debbie called Fix-It and Enjoy-It: All-Purpose, Welcome-Home Recipes by Phyllis Pellman Good for Charlie to use in his Homeschool Cooking Class. Inside this post are my affiliate links if you click on the links and make a purchase I will make a small percentage from the items you purchase.
I loved the cover which would have made a pretty picture to hang over our dinning room table if it didn’t have writing all over it. Although the checkered box around the title catches our eye because the colors pop. All the food will make you hungry and if your like me you will be wondering what kind of Cake is on the cover.
I love how the table of contents is broken down into sections which makes searching for a certain meal easy to find. Main dishes is broken down into the type of meat so we can skip the section on Turkey which we don’t use much of. As well as meatless dishes which David wouldn’t eat. According to David every meal should have meat and potatos.
[There is a recipe for Banana Nut cake which I would like to make for my brother for his Birthday because this is what my dad would always make Gerald. They even have the recipe for Banana Nut Icing instead of Cream Cheese which we don’t like on a Banana Nut Cake. What about you which Icing would you prefer and why?
The next time I invite my sister over for lunch I want to make 10-Minute Meatloaf. Would you like to join us for lunch? For Charlie and David I will make the BBQ Meatballs or Stuffed Hamburgers which I love. have you had Stuffed Hamburgers and do you like them? What do you serve with the Stuffed hamburgers and why?
