First Day of School Printable Signs

I am going to share with you “one thing I regret as a parent.”  By not doing this one thing means I don’t do enough of this for my family and I hate to admit that I do this. Because this makes me seem like a bad parent and before you ask no, I am not a bad parent I promise you that.I love my children more than life itself.

Now that your asking what is the one thing I am horrible at I will tell you. I am at taking pictures of my children especially now that we have cell phones. I noticed this the year Suzzane passed away. We were packing up our home to move and I wasn’t finding  pictures of Suzzane as I would have liked when she was growing up.

Once I noticed this I swore to myself that if I ever had other children I would be more diligent on taking pictures and I would document everything by taking lots and lots of pictures of my children. When Charlie was small I did and I even had mine and his picture taken together. Then I had David and Charlie picture taken together. Also we would take family pictures all the time.

Then I quit and depended on my cell phone and cell phones end up not working  or we get new phones and I wasn’t able to get the pictures off the old phones so I have lost thousands of photos of Charlie which I can never get back and I hate that.  I have also lost pictures of David I can’t get back.

Then the other day David mentioned to me we needed to have family photos taken and even though I agreed with David, neither of us have taken the time to have a photo session set up. Although I know we need to get a photo session set up for family pictures I also need to update the pictures for the blog.

Which I hope to take the time to do once we get our pictures taken. Because anything can happen and if we don’t take the time to take document our lives now we will regret once someone is gone and then its to late and you can’t get the time back to take photos of any kind anywhere.

David and I finished talking I went online and I found cute signs where I can take a picture of Charlie for each grade he is going into and use these  sign to document which grade Charlie was in and give them out as Gifts and also hang them up in our home. One of the features I liked was seeing the signs go through college. I will be using the signs not only for years past but also years to come because the would make wonderful gifts for Charlies grandparents.

I love knowing I can use the signs to give as Gifts to Charlie’s grandparents. Allowing them to preserve memories of Charlie when he was little. If you would like to check out the signs and download a set for yourself you can find them at CJamesDesigns.  If you take the time to print out the “First Day of School Free Printable” and take a picture with your children come share them with Charlie and I.

Now I have a question for you is there one thing you regret as a PARENT?? ….” Come and share it with us.

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
