fiber-based tape and dispenser

The Mommies Reviews

I would like to share Blue Lake ECOLIFE Clear Tape & Dispenser fiber-based tape I received in exchange for a review.

For the past couple weeks non-stop we’ve had at leas tone of Charlie’s friends spending the night if not more than one child at a time. When I get ready to work on my site or on the house a lot of the products I wanted are gone,. Including Blue Lake ECOLIFE Clear Tape & Dispenser containing fiber-based tape and dispenser.

David and I were rearranging the house and needed to hang up my posters I went to get Blue Lake ECOLIFE Clear Tape & Dispenser of my desk and it was gone. I searched all of the downstairs and it wasn’t to be found. I went upstairs to ask Charlie I question and I found Blue Lake ECOLIFE Clear Tape & Dispenser inside Charlie’s room even though I had given Charlie Scotch Tape to use.

I asked Charlie what he was using the tape for and he said to hang his posters because this tape stuck to the wall better than the Scotch Tape he usually uses. I can’t wait until May when Charlie graduates to use the single-use clear wrapping tape to tape his packages closed with. I practiced the other day and the tape was easy to tear off and put on the paper. I had to move the tape a couple times and it didn’t tear the paper which I liked a lot.

Ecolife Plastic-Free Tape and Dispenser looks cute sitting on my desk with the blue line around it and the leaves. The tape looks beige or brown but when you use it its actually clear. The tape is made from wood and cotton fiber which sets it apart from other tapes. The tape is wrapped around paper cores and the entire kit — containing one reusable dispenser and four rolls of tape — is wrapped in plastic-free packaging that the company says can be recycled with other paper products.

About the Company:

Ying Liu is a mom on a mission to solve the plastic problem through innovation. Going from a teacher to an Apple executive and then an ecopreneur, her epiphany struck at a landfill, where the sight of endless waste juxtaposed against the ocean horizon hit too close to home. As a mother, she couldn’t stand the idea of her children not being able to enjoy the ocean when they were her age. This led her to start Blue Lake Packaging, a company dedicated to developing affordable sustainable, fiber-based alternatives to everyday products.

Blue Lake’s product offerings include the newly released fiber-based tape and dispenser. In 2024, the company aims to expand its market reach as well as its product offerings. In particular, Liu sees promise in the plastic-free cushioning material space.

By prioritizing processes that reduce waste and carbon footprint, Blue Lake ECOLIFE caters to environmentally aware consumers seeking practical, comparably priced alternatives for their daily needs. With ECOLIFE, customers don’t have to choose between sustainability, quality, or user experience.

Ying can provide insights and practice tips related to many topics, including making the switch to sustainable products, identifying whether or not something is eco-friendly, and how to teach children about the environment.

Thank you,
