Feeling Forwards

I would like to let you know I received a copy of Feeling Forwards published by Elizabeth Gould in exchange for a review. The thoughts in this review is mine and mine alone.

Our family has been going through a lot the past couple months. David and I had been handling things fairly well but there affecting Charlie in so many ways.

I knew that only the LORD was the answer but you can’t tell a pre-teenager anything because they know it all. Which has been causing Charlie and I to butt heads more than ever.

I was to the point of sending Charlie to my brothers this Summer or I would leave. But I knew sending Charlie away wasn’t the answer. I continued to pray when I found my copy of Feeling Forwards on my desk.

I picked the book up and felt a peace of calm. I sat down and began reading and came up with steps and boundaries I wouldn’t let anyone walk over. Not only in my personal life but work.

As I made changes Charlie and David noticed and they said they were amazed I wasn’t letting things get to me. I told them I was cutting all DRAMA and NEGATIVITY out of my life.

If they wanted to remain they had to change. I let them know I was reading Feeling Forwards at night before bed. I asked them if they would like to read the book with me and discuss what we read.

At first Charlie said no, I don’t want to do that its just like school. I didn’t push. That evening I got my book and went into my room. Charlie came into my room to ask a question.

I told him no, I wasn’t talking to anyone I was reading. I would speak to him in the morning. That was the first time I had ever told Charlie no. Usually I would quit what I was doing and do what they wanted.

The next morning I got up and found Charlie sitting at the kitchen table. I asked him what was wrong. He said mom, I didn’t like when you said no, I am not listening to you.

I let Charlie know that I didn’t like it when he did it to me. Then Charlie asked me if I would read the first chapter of Feeling Forwards with him. I did and before I was through David joined us.

I can tell you this book has been a Godsend and saved our family in more ways than one. It’s also changed Charlie’s relationship with his friends. He has learned he is good enough and doesn’t have to be BULLIED.

About ELIZABETH GOULD

ELIZABETH GOULD

MY STORY

WHEN I was a little girl, worried about my migrant parents who just couldn’t get ahead financially, I could never have dreamed of the incredible life I have now.

NEITHER could I have imagined that I’d have to face every kind of catastrophe you can think of. Life threatening random accidents, negotiating with a psychopath to protect my two small children, cancer, relationship crises and, of course, the usual ups and downs of a senior corporate career that I lost thanks to some serious health issues.

ALONG the way, between training and trauma, I picked up so much wisdom almost without realising it. Working as a lawyer, then in other senior corporate and consulting careers, I coached and interviewed thousands of successful professionals to understand how their actions and behaviors had created the life they desired.

NOW? I experience the joy of working with people around the world to unlock their potential, I’ve become a bestselling author, my work is supported by Tony Robbins, and I coach with Zuckerberg Institute as a Founding Member of Randi Zuckerberg’s global leadership school.

I can’t wait for you to read my new book ‘Feeling Forwards – How to become the person who has the life you want’ and to connect with you!
