Christmas is right around the corner and I would like to share a new gift which you will find inside our Christmas Gift Guide 23: Beer Darts. A while back Charlie had said we should get a Dart Board and Darts which we could use for our Homeschool PE Class. I hadn’t had the opportunity to purchase one but thanks to a Press Release I received I learned about Beer Darts and they sent me a set in exchange for this review and a spot in this years Gift Guide.
Even though these are Beer Darts we all have a set of Darts we all play together, Now, if your like me you might be thinking “BEER DARTS‘ no, I’m not going to share them with kids because it would promote underage drinking. Underage drinking isn’t something David and I would allow children to do.
I’m just sharing a product related to Beer which David loves. I am sure most of the men we know has Beer in there Iceboxes and at times we do share Beer with our friends and family. I’ am sure once we play “Beer Darts” the first time, we will switch out the BEER for Soda then when my niece and nephew are visiting they will be able to play with us.
Be watching here because once Christmas is over I will be back with a full review on how David liked the Beer Darts which at the moment Charlie has put the Beer Darts up in our Christmas Gift Closet to give to David for Christmas. Beer Darts Rules or is it a Philosophy?
Beer Darts the game has been played for years, if not decades. We only created a gadget that will hopefully help the game take off and be played by the rest of the world. Our rules and tips are a mere suggestion to get you and your friends playing and having the most fun doing it.
One of the best things about Beer Darts is making up new rules, even half-way through a game (ie when a dart sparks, everyone must drink!). We love playing with goofy, sharpie-customized backboards that taunt the other team with specific targets to make them “perform a dare,” or “tell a truth” or even “max out their roth IRA” if they are struck. We believe that missing your shot should be just as fun as hitting the beer can! So, go forth and be creative!
Getting hung up on the rules is a quick way to making the game less inclusive, so take our word for it: relax, take a sip of Beer, and throw that dart with a modest lob, (not a laser.) The only rules that are really worth playing by are the rule of fun and the rule of cool. If you need an explanation on exactly how to do this, life will be your best teacher. Get out there and play some darts to put a smile on your face. Once you have stopped smiling, it’s time to stop and do something new.
