The other day David and I took Charlie out to Fatburger for lunch for there 1 year Anniversary. I thought they would be slammed but they weren’t that busy.
We was able to order our lunch and even snag a table to eat inside the restaurant. I loved the Pineapple theme and wanted to get Charlie’s picture at the Selfie Station but like all teenagers Charlie refused to get his pictures taken which was no, surprise to me.
I ordered aMedium (Original) (1/3 lb.)*Cheeseburger with Bacon for Charlie and was able to get Cheddar Cheese for the Cheeseburger. Which was cooked to perfection. Charlie liked the bread that wasn’t hard and didn’t fall apart.
There was enough Bacon to cover the whole sandwich. We asked for no, Veggies and Mayo which was just the way Charlie liked. I ordered Skinny Fries for Charlie which he said he liked but would like to get the Fat Fries next time.
Then I ordered my Bacon for my Medium (Original) (1/3 lb.)*Cheeseburger. I asked for Grilled Onions on it which was so good. No, Pickles or Tomatoes and Mayo but they put some kind of Relish on mine which I didn’t like.
I will have to ask the server when I go back what it was and to make sure they don’t put that on my Hamburger or Charlie’s because if they had he wouldn’t have eaten his.
For my Fries I ordered the Fat Fries and they were so good. I can’t wait to order them again although, I also want to try the Onion Rings I saw that looked so good.
All three of us got a Soda with our Meal which is Coke products. Charlie and David choose Coke and I got Sweet Tea which was just Sweet enough. I can’t wait to order another glass.
David ordered a XXL (Double Kingburger) (1 lb.)* that was so big he couldn’t finish it all because he also ordered Fat Fries. Although, next time Charlie and David want to try the Buffalo Wings.
While we ate they brought a sample of there Pineapple Shack to everyone. David tasted it and said he wished he had ordered it. But Charlie and I passed on the Sample but next time we both would like to get a Chocolate Shake and to share a Hamburger and Fries because there so big we wouldn’t be able to finish our Shake if each of us ordered our own Cheeseburger and Fries.
About:
The Fatburger Story
Lovie Yancey was an entrepreneur from the start. In 1947, she built a business from the ground up: a three-stool hamburger stand using scrap materials from her partner’s construction business. They called it Mr. Fatburger. But in 1952, they split.
Ever persistent, she shed the “Mr.” from the namesake, and worked tirelessly to make Fatburger what it is today: a mega successful franchise the world over. There’s a reason Fatburger is a household name. It’s the burgers, of course, but it’s also Lovie Yancey.
TV Trivia:
Fatburger has been in a string of songs, movies and TV shows, including “Sanford and Son,” “Fast and the Furious” and the Ice Cube single “It Was a Good Day.”Feb 2, 2008
