Fashion evolves over the years, it has been hard to redecorate our Trailer. The trailer built in the 70’s, which you can tell this when you walk in. Everywhere you look there is wallpaper everywhere, and the counters are green. The other day David and I were discussing ways we can update the trailer. So it would look more modern, and I asked about taking down the Venetian blinds and putting up more modern shades in our home.
We have quite a few windows in the trailer, which includes a bay window. Our Venetian blinds are so old that they keep tearing and they have turned yellow with age. The curtains we bought for the front room window is too long, and we need one more curtain to cover that window. And the store we purchased the curtains from doesn’t sell them anymore.
I let David know how many curtains we would need and how much they may cost us. When David decided to look into blinds with me, we both found some that we liked a lot and David says when he returns to work that he will get me blinds for the bay window. Then he will fix the window there that is broke.
Once we get the blinds for in the living room and see how it makes the trailer look, we can discuss getting some for my bedroom. As well as Charlie’s bedroom. Once I mentioned this to Charlie, he asked if I would show him some of the blinds he could choose. Charlie and I went to the website Next Day Blinds. Charlie was surprised to see we could see how the oval office has changed throughout time.
We had fun discussing who was in office the year we were born and how the office decorated and how it has changed. As well as why it has changed and if we thought it made it friendlier or less friendly. As for me, I liked seeing the year Kennedy was president as this is the year I was born and it allowed me the opportunity to get a look into the things Jackie O and President Kennedy enjoyed.
If your into Fashion and the way things have involved in the past at the White House. I hope you take the time to check out History of the Oval Office if you do, let me know what you liked and disliked about the things you saw.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie, and David Cates
