One of my favorite pastimes is reading and I love when a book speaks to me. I’m happy to let you know this is what happened when David and I were in Ollies. I went to pick up a set of books based on one of my favorite TV’s Show Virgin River.
Instead I purchased Falling in Love on Willow Creek: which includes a Bonus Story (Highland Falls Book 3) by Debbie Mason. I was drawn to the book through the cover with the Water in the background and a Golden Retriever sitting by a Picnic Basket with a Rowboat we could go out in,
Not only that I was excited because this book contains a bonus story giving us two books for the price of one book. The second story is A Wedding On Honeysuckle Ridge. This is the first book of Debbie Mason’s I’ve read but it will not be the last book of hers because Falling In Love on Willow Creek is part of a series of books.
I plan on giving Charlie and David a list of the books in the series for them to purchase for me for upcoming Holidays, Birthday and our Anniversary. If I finish Falling in Love on Willow Creek and enjoy the story as much as I think I will I may purchase the other books in the series for myself. Once I finish reading Box of Butterflies: Discovering the Unexpected Blessings All Around Us by Roma Downey who is from another TV Show I used to watch Touched By An Angel.
I went and looked up the other two books in the series which are Summer on Honeysuckle Ridge (Highland Falls Book 1 )and Christmas on Reindeer Road (Highland Falls Book 2). If you know me at all you know I don’t read books about Christmas until the day after Thanksgiving.
I may put these books up in my Christmas tote to read during the Holidays. Although I could read the first two books and hold onto the second book. What do you think I should do and why? Here is fun fact for you.
When looking up these three books it seems there may be others in the series including The Inn on Mirror Lake (Highland Falls Book 4), At Home on Marigold Lane (Highland Falls Book 5) and Reunited on Sugar Maple Road (Highland Falls Book 6)
About the book:
Single mom-to-be Sadie Gray will do anything to find her younger brother before the law catches up with him. Even if it means returning home to the small town of Highland Falls with a baby due any moment. But when that moment comes sooner than expected, and Sadie finds herself stranded on the top of a Mountain—in labor–she couldn’t be more grateful for the park ranger who finds her and helps deliver her daughter safely. Soon they’ve formed a tight friendship, and while he may be hinting at more, Sadie isn’t planning to stick around after she finds her brother.
About: A Wedding On Honeysuckle Ridge
Here comes the bride—until the groom’s meddling grandfather interferes—in this lively, warmhearted novella from USA Today bestselling author Debbie Mason.
It’s Autumn in the cozy little town of Highland Falls, and for Sadie Gray, it’s the most romantic time of the year, not to mention her life. After all, she’s engaged to brilliant and gorgeous FBI agent Chase Roberts, whose kisses warm her from head to toe on chilly evenings. But Sadie’s having trouble convincing herself that she deserves this much happiness—and deserves him. And the worst part is that Chase’s family seems to agree . . .
Chase loves his grandfather, but he won’t let anything—or anyone—get between him and Sadie. Especially when Chase has never felt this way about another woman. But when Sadie and Chase start planning to say their “I do’s” on a reality TV show, Chase’s grandfather goes from disapproving to full-on Wedding Sabotage Mode.
Now Chase and Sadie’s special day is quickly turning into a disastrous three-ring circus. Can Chase and Sadie find their way back to each other . . . before their wedding turns into a happily never after? Sounds like a fun read doesn’t it?
