Faith & Lettering Journal

Review

On Tuesday morning I will be having lunch with my best friend Debbie. Debbie and I have been friends since second grade. During our lunches anything we talk about stays with us. Although I know Debbie has been going through a lot the past couple months. Including watching a friend who is only 16 fight for his life.

You see Hunter is suffering from Cancer. This is Hunters third bout with Cancer. Even though I don’t know Hunter personally I have been following his story. I believe the Lord will be calling Hunter home soon. Or I Pray the LORD does because Hunter is in so much pain he can’t function. His parents are at there wits end and just don’t know what to do.

As I was gathering the items, I wanted to take to lunch with us I noticed my journal Faith & Lettering. I sat down to thumb through the journal because I wanted to block out the world for a while. As I was looking through Faith & Lettering, I could hear the Lord telling me I needed to share Faith & Lettering with Debbie. I believe Debbie needs to pick up a copy of Faith & Lettering for Hunter and his parents.

As I sat at my computer I begin to Pray for Charlie and David. Because our family are facing things I don’t want to talk about at the moment. As I was sitting at my desk trying to figure out how I was going to face this week I opened Faith & Lettering . The Lord brought me right to this Verse:

Fear Not for I am with you Isaiah 41:10

I could feel the Lord surround me and I knew the Lord was telling me everything would be okay as long as I believed. I screen shot the page and sent it to Debbie. Debbie immediately messaged me back to let me know she needed to hear that message more than I would ever know. I kept flipping through the journal and I came upon a page that says to Give Thanks to the Lord.

With Thanksgiving right around the corner and the Anniversary of the death of my daughter I knew it was time to thank the Lord for the 16 years I had with her before she was called home. For the first time since Suzzane passed away, I am not dreading Thanksgiving but looking forward to spending the Holidays with my family.

I can’t wait to sit down and practice my handwriting using Faith & Lettering. I Pray Charlie will work with me on his handwriting because Charlie made a U in handwriting on his report card. I know if Charlie practices his writing using Ellie Clair journals Charlie can improve not only his handwriting but his reading and spelling as well.

Faith & Lettering is created by letterer Krystal Whitten! Inside you will find guides, instructions, and tutorials. Showing us a fun and inspiring way to create beauty with words. Faith & Lettering is the perfect for writers to use in their studies of the Bible. My favorite features were the lettering quotes and verses.

I let both Charlie and David look through Faith & Lettering. David and Charlie let me know they liked learning we can decorate the pages with original thoughts and plans. Charlie let me know we could even add drawings to the pages allowing us to explore our God-given creativity. For my family this hasn’t ever been as rewarding until I found Faith & Lettering

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
