After the tremendous success of its predecessor, the LUX™ Multi-Cooker, Fagor has updated and expanded on their amply functional electric vessel with new features, functions and technology to give customers something they’ve never been offered before.
This enhanced, all-in-one unit features 10 main cooking functions – Pressure Cook, Slow Cook, Steam, Brown, Sauté, Simmer, Yogurt, Grains, Eggs and Dessert. The additional Keep Warm and Time Delay programs let you seamlessly move from prepping to cooking to serving without sacrificing time or taste. From chili and rice to dips and dessert, the LUX™ LCD can do it all. Not only does this unit come with 10 main functions, it also includes more than 30 additional recipe specific settings that pertain to certain main functions including a Custom setting that lets you save up to three of your favorite recipes in the unit’s internal memory.
The Pressure Cooking function, with High and Low settings, not only reduces cooking time by up to 70% but it also retains vitamins and nutrients. The Slow Cooking function is perfect for foods that require long cooking times such as soups, stews and tough cuts of meat. With High and Low temperature settings, the slow cooking function can cook up to 10 hours. The Grains function includes White Rice, Brown Rice, Risotto, Quinoa and Barley, allowing you to cook your favorite grains to perfection in a matter of minutes. The Dessert function comes equipped with settings for Cheesecake, Flan, Custard and Rice Pudding to satisfy your sweet tooth. The Eggs function has settings for Hard Boiled and Omelette for making eggs in minutes.
In addition to these cooking programs, the Yogurt function prepares both regular and Greek yogurt right at home using an 8-hour incubation function that kills bad bacteria and preserves the good bacteria, creating a healthy and flavorful treat. You can use this homemade yogurt as the base for dips and dressings for a healthier alternative.
All these cooking functions and settings can be found in the blue LCD display that lets you easily navigate through all the cooking/menu options with the simple turn of a dial. The display also comes programmed with several different icons to assist you each step of the way. Icons that let you know when the unit is preheating, if you need to open or close the lid and remind you to press Start once you’ve programmed your recipe. The panel will even turn green once Start is pushed to let you know the cooking process has begun.
This one-of-a kind, illustrious unit is available in 3 size options (4 Qt., 6 Qt. and 8 Qt.) making it perfect for any size family. The stainless steel removable pot is dishwasher safe, allowing for a very easy clean-up. The LUX™ LCD is equipped with a self-locking lid, a quick pressure release valve and two independent pressure control valves. It also includes buttons for Keep Warm, Time Delay, Start/Stop, Panel Lock, Adjust and Menu. Included with the LUX™ LCD are a user’s manual, a stainless steel steamer basket with trivet and a full color recipe book with over 70 delicious recipes.
