JENNA BUSH HAGER ANNOUNCES ADDITIONAL TOUR DATES FOR NEW BOOK EVERYTHING BEAUTIFUL IN ITS TIME
Coming to Dallas’ Winspear Opera House on
Saturday, April 25th
(Dallas, TX — February 10, 2020) – Former first daughter and granddaughter, bestselling author, and co-anchor of the TODAY show Jenna Bush Hager will go on a national tour to support her first solo adult book Everything Beautiful in Its Time: Seasons of Love and Loss. At the events, Jenna will take fans behind the scenes of her life – from growing up inside a political family to dating in the public eye to life on the TODAY show set. Through it all, she’s relied on advice from her beloved grandparents who taught her about respect, humility, kindness, and living a life of passion and meaning—timeless lessons that continue to guide her as she tackles motherhood, marriage, and (very) early wake-up calls.
Jenna says, “I can’t wait to hit the road and share stories about the people I love, and hear from others about all of the things that are beautiful in their lives.”
In Everything Beautiful in Its Time, Jenna shares moving, funny stories about her grandparents and the wisdom they passed on that has shaped her life. To the world, George and Barbara Bush were America’s powerful president and influential first lady. To Jenna, they were her beloved Gampy and Ganny who taught her about respect, humility, kindness, and living a life of passion and meaning. In Midland, Texas, Jenna’s maternal grandparents, Harold and Jenna Welch—Pa and Grammee—a home builder and homemaker, lived a quieter life outside the national spotlight. Yet their influence was no less indelible to their granddaughter. Throughout Jenna’s childhood and adolescence, the Welches taught her the name of every star in the sky, the way a dove uses her voice—teaching her to appreciate the beauty in the smallest things.
Now the mother of three young children, Jenna reflects on the year she and her family lost Barbara and George H.W. Bush and Jenna Welch. In this collection of heartwarming, intimate personal essays, Jenna reveals how they navigated this difficult period with grace, faith, and nostalgic humor, uplifted by their grandparents’ sage advice and incomparable spirits. Filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable stories, Everything Beautiful in Its Time captures the joyous and bittersweet nature of life.
Each event ticket includes a copy of Everything Beautiful in Its Time (a $26.99 value, published by William Morrow, a division of HarperCollins). The national tour will launch on April 24th and includes a stop at the Winspear Opera House on April 25th with books sold by Interabang Books. Presales for the added dates to the Everything Beautiful Tour begin on Monday, February 10th at 10 a.m. local time. A full list of tour dates is available at jennabushhager.com.
