This is a Review for Evangers Dog & Cat Foods. They sent me Evangers canned foods and treats to have my dogs try out. In exchange for Evanger’s Food For Dogs & Cats having a spot in this year’s #HGG I would like to let you know that even though Evangers Dog & Cat Food sent me these products the thoughts in this review are all mine and my families as well as our dogs Sandi, Max, Lucy and Thor.
Evangers Braised Beef Chunks is the one I opened today to let Sandi try. As soon as I opened Evangers Braised Beef Chunks and sat it down in front of Sandi she started to eat it right away. Anytime any of the others dogs came around her bowl she would growl at them. I knew this meant Sandi liked her food because she doesn’t do that with the other food we feed her.
I watched Sandi eat because once she was done I was going to add the broth to the dry dog food the other dogs were eating. Sandi didn’t leave any broth at all. In fact the bowl was so clean we didn’t have to wash it. But I did as I do not like mixing the different foods.

Since Sandi ate Evangers Braised Beef Chunks all and didn’t share Charlie has asked if he can give Max a can of Evanger’s Pet Food and he want’s to give him the Hunk of Beef. We all know Max loves anything with a Beef taste to it. I am sure once we give this to Max it will disappear just as fast as the Braised Beef Chunks Sandi ate.
Then for Thor we took him outside as he fights the other dogs over the food we give him. I had David give him the Slow Cooked Turkey Stew. I am so glad I wasn’t a dog who had to share their food with Thor because I would have to go hungry. I am sure Thor wouldn’t share me and Thor might even bite me. That is where we need to teach them to share and until we get them some training it isn’t going to happen.

Then as a mid afternoon snack I let Sandi have Evanger’s Super Premium Chicken & Brown Rice Recipe and she ate it so fast I was amazed because Sandi is a picky eater and usually will take her food and hide it although not this time. I let the other dog’s try it out and they gobbled it up and I could tell they wanted more of it. So David has said to order more of this dog food when we are paid.
Lucy & Max
Thor is so big I let him have the whole bag of Evanger’s Grain Free Whitefish and Sweet Potato Recipe. I must tell you it didn’t take Thor two seconds to eat the whole bag. David was afraid it would give Thor Diarrhea but it didn’t and none of the other dogs ended up with Tummy Aches either.
Sandy didn’t have trouble chewing the snacks or swallowing the snacks which she does with a lot of the foods we have bought for them in the past. I also didn’t have to water the snacks down as they come in small pieces that Snadi could chew even though she has trouble with her teeth.
Which is why Sandi hides her food. The other dogs eat there’s and then will eat Sandi’s as she doesn’t eat as fast as Lucy, Max and Thor. Which means there are times when Sandi goes hungry and I don’t like that at all.
