Epic Waters Indoor WaterPark

The Mommies Reviews

The other day my family was invited to Epic Waters Indoor Water Park for their Media Day. Can you believe                    Epic Waters Indoor Water Park took 4 1/2 years to be built? While visiting Epic Waters Indoor Water Park we would have been able to swim and check out all of the attractions. Although Charlie was under the Weather, and I didn’t want him to swim. My family just walked around and looked at all the beautiful amenities. As we did, we discussed which ones we would like to try out if we to return this Summer.

I would like to let you know Epic Waters Indoor Water Park will open to the public at 5 p.m. on Friday, January 12, 2018. My family had planned on being there for the grand opening, but David has to work. Which makes me sad as I have been waiting forever for Epic Waters Indoor Wate Park to open up forever.

I was worried Epic Waters Indoor Water Park would be too crowded and that there wouldn’t be room for everyone. Which you do not have to worry about as Epic Waters Indoor Water Park is an 80,000 square-foot indoor-outdoor water park. Once you come inside you will see there is a retractable roof allowing year-round, weatherproof operations.

All three of us thought the retractable roof was the neatest thing ever. I loved being able to look up at the sky as we were walking around. I also like how having the roof helped cool the park off. Epic Waters Indoor Water Park is going to be so much better than other water parks in the area.

Epic Waters Indoor Water Park being inside it will keep us from being outside in 100-degree Weather this Summer. Which will protect us all from getting sunburned. Or from experiencing heat stroke. Although there is a ride that goes outside and comes back inside so you will be in the Sun a tad bit if it.

For my family, the number one feature of Epic Waters Indoor Water Park is that we don’t have to stay in a hotel to have access to the park. There are hotels in the areas so if you want to get away, you could book a room and chill out. I told David I would like to do this Summer because it would allow us to do a Staycation and be cheaper than a full-fledged vacation. Epic Indoor Water Park is in Grand Prairie, and it is 23 feet long, and I haven’t explored it. Since David, Charlie and I haven’t visited many businesses in Grand Prairie, it would allow us to explore a new town.

Unlike other water parks in the area, Epic Waters Indoor Water Park one is open until 9 pm so you could come and plan to spend the entire day. There are plenty of concession stands to pick up lunch or dinner from for your family. An Arcade for everyone to play in if they get tired of swimming. Or there are lots of chairs to lounge in including cabanas if you wanted to be off by yourself.  Epic Waters Indoor Water Park working on an outside area which I can’t wait to check out. The result is a destination where anyone from toddlers to teens or even Grandma can have great fun, both in and out of the water.”

Epic Waters Indoor Water Park new indoor/ outdoor park in North Texas Opens with Big Splash for Kids Epic Waters plans to draw in families with kid-friendly attractions and amenities for parents. Billed as a “cruise ship on land,” the water park offers opportunities for everyone to have fun, including plenty of kid-friendly attractions and amenities for Mom and Dad.

The headline attraction for younger guests at Epic Waters Indoor Water Park is Rascal’s Round-Up, a 3,000 square-foot/35-feet tall, brightly colored aquatic fort featuring sprinklers, geysers, slides, and a 300-gallon tipping bucket.

“Parents can get in the pool around Rascal’s Round-Up and splash with their kids, or watch them comfortably from the adjacent seating areas,” said Coleman.

Other attractions suitable for guests under 42 inches include the Rio Grande (a 600-foot lazy river), an activity pool, and the e-Racers, a high-speed mat slide that pits four riders against each other in a race to the final plunge. The waterpark will also offer programming and discounts targeted to younger guests and families, including weekly Mommy & Me events (too open for dads), special days for homeschool students and kids who participate in scouting, a Family Fun Friday Arcade Night, FlowRider®camps and clinics, and a summer reading program.

Older kids and teens in search of adrenaline-laced adventures can try the waterpark’s more adventurous slides, such as the Yellowjacket Drop (a serpentine, enclosed inner tube ride that concludes with a “zero gravity” drop) or the Lasso Loop (a super-tall body slide).

Both kids and teens are likely to become big fans of the waterpark’s FlowRider® (where you can learn to surf or build surfing skills in a simulated wave environment), as well as the waterpark’s 4,000 square-foot arcades, featuring 45 games and a concession area.

Amenities and Birthday Parties

Epic Waters also offers some amenities that are sure to delight parents. Including the following items an on-site retail shop, free parking, discounted spectator-only tickets, family-friendly music and weekly specials—such as cut twilight admission (available after 5 p.m.) or Website Wednesdays (where you can mention a secret code and earn a discount). There’s also the Hungry Wave Café, offering a chef-driven menu (that includes children’s items) and Longboards, a full-service bar.

Birthday party packages are already proving to be a current draw for families, with many selling before the waterpark’s opening day. These packages accommodate small and large groups (plus chaperones) and include amenities like catering, arcade cards, party time in a private room, and return tickets for the birthday host.

“Our birthday parties began selling last summer, and we anticipate that bookings will increase once we’re open for business,” said Coleman. “Therefore, we encourage parents to book now to increase the chances of getting their preferred date.”
