Christmas has passed and we’ve moved into the New Year. I wanted to remind everyone of one of the puzzles we received. They are perfect Gifts for any Holiday as well as a wonderful addiction to Homeschooling classes.

Before I share my thoughts with you I would like to let you know I was sent a FlipStir Puzzle in exchange for this review but the thoughts in this review is mine and my families.

One of the things we learned  when we were taking Charlie to the counselor was Charlie suffers from ADHD. Which I had suspected being Charlie’s mom and seeing the things he does.

The counselor let us know Board Games or Puzzles would help keep Charlie calmer and more focused. As soon as I saw FlipStir I knew they would be something that would help Charlie with both of these task.

Once we opened FlipStir and I showed Charlie and David how the puzzles worked. They had so much fun trying to put it together them together we ended up laughing and laughing. I am so surprised the neighbors didn’t hear us and come see what was happening.

When we decided we wanted to go see my dad Charlie’s FlipStir puzzle was one of the first things Charlie packed. Charlie said he could play with this in the car and wouldn’t lose the pieces.

Then Charlie let me know he wanted to share the puzzle with my brother and my dad. Charlie said he thought they would enjoy the puzzle just as much as our family did.

I would like to let you know we weren’t able to go to my dad’s as the Weather turned bad which was okay. Charlie and I have been putting the FlipStir puzzle  together at night as we watch TV.

With Valentines right around the corner I want to get Charlie a couple more FlipStir puzzles. If I do I think I might also pick one up for David as well.

Last week Charlie and I were studying Dinosaurs in school. I asked Charlie to help me find items with Dinosaurs on it and the first thing he brought me was the FlipStir puzzle.

I asked Charlie how we could use this puzzle in school. Charlie said for math. Because we could see how long it takes to put the FlipStip puzzle together

Then we could host  a contest to see who was the fastest and add and subtract the time. Charlie also let me know he could make up math problems using how many pieces are in the puzzles.

We could use the paper that comes with the puzzle for reading and also Language Arts. Where we would write the facts from the paper that came inside the container down and also use the words in a spelling test I give Charlie. For reading we could time how long it takes Charlie to read the paper as well as how long it takes him to read the paper.

I asked Charlie if he thought of anything else he could do with the puzzle. Charlie says we could use it in Art. Charlie said he could draw the Dinosaur and write a story about the dinosaur and we could even add more items to the picture turning it into a collage.

I was worried that if we used our FlipStir puzzle for school Charlie would get tired of the puzzle and not want to play use it but that wasn’t the case and Charlie is always putting the puzzle  together.

As well as sharing the puzzle with his friends and family. I am Proud to say I can’t wait to purchase other FlipStir puzzles. I know we will be able to use them in many ways.
