My family was invited to visit Enchant Christmas Light Maze and Market http://Enchant Christmas Light Maze and Market before it opened to the public and I must tell you I was so excited that I couldn’t sleep. I wanted to surprise both David and Charlie; I didn’t say anything about going. Then Charlie saw a commercial on TV and asked me if I thought we could go as he would be out of school for Thanksgiving.

I was working on the computer I asked Charlie to come over and look at something with me. I pulled up the information and asked Charlie to read the email to me as I was busy. Charlie figured out it was an invite to Enchant he let out a huge scream and started jumping around. Once David saw all the excitement he came over, and we showed David what we were talking about, and he couldn’t stop asking questions. Seeing David do this showed me he was as excited as Charlie and I was.

Once Charlie’s friends came over to play the day we were going to Enchant Charlie let them all know he didn’t want to play as he tried to get dressed so he would be ready when David arrived home. Charlie’s friend Damen asked Charlie if he could come with us. At first, I started to say no, but I knew his family wouldn’t have the money to bring him so I said yes, he could come as Charlie and he could do things together while David and I spent some time together.

So we all loaded into the van and went to grab dinner even though there would be Food Trucks at the event as I wanted to make sure the boys had plenty of time to Ice Skate. Once we arrived at Globe Life Park and got out of the van to walk up to the gate, both boys stopped and just looked at the sign and the colossal Reindeer and couldn’t believe how big they were.

We crossed the street, and there was plenty of help to get us across the street safely. Once we got across, we walked up to the Box office helped promptly. Charlie had a few questions which they took the time to answer and didn’t rush us through. I liked that because sometimes kids questions are pushed aside.

We went and got into line, and the boys walked around some and looked at the sign and also the Reindeer up close. Like any child, they decided they had to go to the restroom. We got out of line and went to ask where the bathrooms were. They pointed to the Port A Potties behind the fence I walked the boys over, and both of them used the restroom although I wish I had brought a flashlight as there weren’t any lights inside and it made it hard for them to use the bathroom.  I bet Enchant will have this problem fixed and we will not need a flashlight.

Once inside there were so many ways to go that we just stopped and looked all around and as we did Santa walked up and asked if we were okay. All of us was able to get our photos with him then we headed over to the Bridge as the boys wanted to climb up on it and look down. Both David and Charlie loved the view and that there was actual snow falling. Once we got them off the Bridge, we ventured down to the Food Trucks to see what was there.

As soon as I saw the Pizza Truck, I knew where the boys would want to eat at. I picked out the Bar B Que truck, and David said if he ate he would eat there as well. We walked on into the Marketplace, and we found so many shops that I could have spent all day shopping and still not seen all I wanted to see.

I found Amazaballs which I had saw on Facebook, and they had Nuts and Jerky that I wanted to try out. But the boys were in a hurry to go skating. I did get to stop and look at some of the Vendors stores, and I plan on returning before Christmas as I want to do some Christmas Shopping.

We went back to the Ice Skating Pond, and the boys went to get there skates. I thought there would be a line for them to wait in and there wasn’t they were able to get right out on the Ice. Both boys tried to skate, but neither of them had been ice skating before and couldn’t stay on their feet, so they gave up pretty quickly.

We went to put the skates back up and went to look through the Maze and while there found out we need to find all of Santa’s Reindeer. Like all children mine went running off. I went after them, and David dropped something, and by the time he was ready to come after us, we were already gone and half-way through door 1.

Charlie and Damen had so much fun not only looking at the lights and the decorations but trying to find the Reindeer that I didn’t think we would get out of door one. Although, we did and moved on to gate 2 and yes, David was still missing. We went through it and found more Reindeer. Once they finished, we went to door 3 and walked around and located the missing Reindeer.

When they finished, we went back out to the middle of the maze and waited for David to come out. Charlie saw David, and we all walked over to meet him. Once we were ready to leave the lady at the entrance reminded us to turn in our Reindeer card before we entered the other area as they would receive a gift.

What surprised me was when I looked down and the time and it was 8:40 and it would be closing at 9. Where did all the time go? Wait no, one ended up bored or wanted to go home early, and they wanted to come back? Finally, I found something that was Family Friendly and a massive hit with my family. What more could I want? Other than tickets to return at a later date this Season and to know they will be returning next year.
