Eating Well to Win: Inspired Living Through Inspired Cooking by [Ingraham, Richard]

I enjoy finding new cookbooks published  by Authors I hadn’t heard of before as they usually have a unique cooking style I might not have heard before checking out the cookbooks they publish. I couldn’t wait to check out  Eating Well to Win: Inspired Living Through Inspired Cooking to see what recipes the Chef had included  David and Charlie would be willing to try.

I browsed through the cookbook and I went over the information we received. Charlie and David,  were amazed to find out Chef Richard Ingraham had been the personal chef for NBA star Dwyane Wade for more than a decade. David and Charlie let me know they  had seen Dwyane Wade play on TV and to find out, he was a Chef got Charlie interested in looking through the cookbook for a recipe to prepare dinner for David and me.

For me I wanted to check out his recipes because he had been a Chopped contender and I watch that show every time it’s on the air. Let me share a fun tidbit with you being on Chopped is on my Bucket List. I don’t care of I am a contender, judge or someone in the audience I just want to be a part of the show.

Charlie, David and I would love being able to watch his Television show private Chef Network, Chef RLI, which caters to professional athletes so we could see which Athletes he provides dinners. Although with the show being private there isn’t a way we can watch the show. We will use our cookbook and pretend we are Athletes and if truth is none Charlie is as he plays Soccer.

I looked through the cookbook, I was amazed to see it contains Step-by-step  90 recipes for the Cross Fit enthusiastworking mom, and the weekend golfer who can eat for optimum performance because he knows all of the secrets, and it’s not all kale smoothies and grilled chicken. Thank the Lord as this is all I seem to be eating since I started my new diet.

In addition to his recipes, Chef Richard will share what he’s learned about eating well to live well throughout his career from his parents and grandparents, who were his first culinary instructors, to his celebrity clients. Another feature I enjoyed about the new book was knowing he included tips from his own family including his grandparents.
