Earth, My Dearest

Earth, My Dearest is a book I received in exchange for this review.

Earth, My Dearest

“Earth, my dearest, I will. Oh believe me, you no longer need your springtimes to win me over.” —Rainer Maria Rilke

Even though Earth Day may have passed I am pleased to present you to Earth, My Dearest, an inspirational compilation of over 200 quotes around conservation and sustainability.

Earth, My Dearest is a book Charlie and I can use in our Homeschool Classroom when were studying the Earth. Or looking for subjects to write about in our Creative Writing Class.

Earth My Dearest is the perfect size book to slide into my pocket or purse and head out to run errands Then if or when Charlie says I am bored I can pull the book out for Charlie to read.

I like how each quote ends with who write it allowing Charlie and I to look up the Artist in our Reading Class allowing us to learn about new Authors.

As we check them out we can see if they have written new books for us to read next year in our Reading Class. Charlie showed me how we can create Art using the quotes in the book.

There were words Charlie didn’t recognize or understand which we turned into Spelling Words and this allowed Charlie to get the dictionary out to look up the new words ans create sentences using them. Expanding his Vocabulary.
