I wanted to share a new game with you called DOODLE HEIST – The Quick Drawing and Deduction Family Party Game for Kids, Tweens, Teens, College Students, Adults & Families – Perfect for Fun Parties and Board Games Night with your Group I received in exchange for this review. I would have used in our #Homeschool Art Class when teaching #HomeschoolwithBoardGames. I thought this would be the perfect resource for you to share with your children. Charlie and I are home by ourselves this evening. Charlie and I plan on playing Doodle Heist although since I can’t draw myself out of a paper bag I don’t know how well this is going to go over.
Before you ask what about Charlie he is very good at drawing and we have to crack the code to win. Doodle Heist reminds me of a Escape Room. The game ask use to divide up into teams. Then we would choose a artist but since its just Charlie and I playing we both have to be the Artist. Jou Be and Lord help us.
Then we set the board with clues. The artist holds a secret key card with the correct answer for the round. Then the artist begins to draw and the other team tries to guess what he is drawing using the clues on the board. Be careful some of the clues look the same. You can win points for guessing your team’s doodle. If you do it fast enough you can stela points from the other team by figuring out there doodle as well.
I like how on the back of the box is a QR Code so you can see how the game is played before you purchase it. Doodle Heist is for people 10+ and up but I can tell you small children could play as well with a adults help. Doodle Heist is a game for 4= people or more which would allow families to play together. I like that it only takes 30 minutes to play which is the same amount of time as a sitcom on TV. Turn off the electronics put the phone away and lets play.
