If you love DOGGIES as much as my family does then your going to love Doggy Kisses by Todd Parr (Author) I received a copy of for this review.
Doggy Kisses is a board book or counting book for toddlers and young children learning to count. Although if you saw the cover of the book you might like the Dog as much as Charlie and I did and add the book to your Home Library. Charlie also said the boy is cute and the red background pops. As well as the blue and yellow letters.
The book teaches children to count from 1 to 10 using Dogs of all kinds. Doing all kinds of activities including taking a bath and sleeping. Charlie and I would like to see a second book teaching children to count from 10 to 20 using more Doggies. In the back of the book is all the dogs and numbers there representing which can be printed out and hung on a wall to reinforce counting with our children.
About the book:
Meet ten colorful, lovable (and sometimes a little slobbery) canine friends in this kid-friendly concept book. From one doggy kiss all the way up to ten, each page stars playful pooches showing love the best way they know how.
Featuring a padded cover and thick card-stock pages and filled with Todd Parr’s signature bold and kid-friendly illustrations, here’s a book that will make readers laugh out loud as they learn to count.
