All aboard the Elevator as we move on up through Dino-Fest At The Perot Museum to Level Two. Yes, you heard me right we finished Level One and can revisit it at the end of the day if Charlie or David would want to. For me I was happy to move on up to level two as there were restrooms and benches so I could sit a few minutes and let my foot rest.
Charlie and David ventured on into the room where the attractions was to see what all David and Charlie could find they wanted to take a closer look at while I sat and rested. David helped Charlie map for Level Two so we wouldn’t miss anything they wanted to take a closer look at. Before we began Charlie stopped by the restroom. I was amazed at how big Level Two was and all the different things there were for us to see and do.

Pterosaur Gliders
Charlie and I have always enjoyed creating Airplanes and flying them in our home. So I knew I defiantly wanted to let Charlie make a Pterosaur Gliders once we returned home we would know how to create them for our own class. I just wish they had a printout so we had the directions on how to make Pterosaur Gliders. Although I should be able to make Pterosaur Gliders using the one Charlie made as a pattern.
Or we can search Google or Pinterest to find patterns to create Dinosaur Gliders we like. Or talk Charlie into going to the Book Store with me and seeing if we can find a book telling us how to create Dinosaur Gliders. If not I bet we can find a local Art Class that could help us out and count for Homeschool Art class.
As a mom I discovered I have no PATIENCE I am a HELICOPTER mom when it comes to crafts as I wanted Charlie to hurry and get done drawing and begin cutting the pattern out. When Charlie wasn’t doing it right or how I felt he should be doing or cutting it fast enough I found myself asking Charlie time and time again if he wanted me to do it for him. Although I was so PROUD of Charlie when he said no, I can do it myself and he did and it turned out perfectly.
Fossils Under the Microscope
Fossils Under the Microscope was something I enjoyed a lot and would have liked to spend more time doing but the guys wanted to move on. Although while they were watching the Pigeon Dissection I should have went back because I wanted no part of watching anyone dissect any animals of any kind because I had to dissect a frog in school for Biology which was the first and last time I ever want to dissect anything.
Pigeon Dissecting
Boys will be boys and dissecting animals is a lot of fun for David in Charlie. If I am not careful I could see them going outside and gathering Frogs, Worms and Birds and staring there own Lab. Lord Please never let that happen as I can see them using the dinning room table to take the animals apart on and I have to eat off that table.
Thank you,
Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
