Dino-Fest At The Perot Museum Level Three

All aboard we are moving on up as we visit Dino-Fest At The Perot Museum moving from Level Two to Level Three. Now if you want to be brave you can walk the stairs which we all know is healthier for us. But with my foot hurting and David’s knees hurting we are going to take the Elevator. Which we have done all day.

There is a wait for the elevators but if you would like a tip if your on floor 2 and would like to move up to Level 3. I suggest you take the elevator down to the ground level and ride the elevator back up as it will save you time which was what the staff  was doing today. Isn’t it nice to find out helpful tips like this?

Also I would like to share something with you about Charlie and myself. Charlie is afraid of heights and elevators aren’t one of his favorite things to ride. Since we were in a safe place Charlie would walk the stairs and meet us in a designated place and I didn’t have to worry about someone taking him.

I don’t like crowds and I am terrified I will lose David and Charlie and not be able to find them. Here lately I don’t like Elevators and Escalators and walking up high. For me to go up to the different levels was hard but I didn’t want Charlie or David to leave me. So I got onto the elevator and the ride was smooth and I didn’t feel any bumps. Even though parts of the elevator is made of glass I didn’t end up panicking and feeling like I was going to faint. I would ride the elevators again.

For the first time ever I was able to visit all the different levels and see everything in person and not have to depend on pictures David and Charlie would take and there descriptions of the things inside the Perot Museum. To me yesterday was a homerun and I am so prod of both Charlie and I.

Attractions on Level Three

Discovery Carts: Coprolites and Prehistoric Life which is also on Level 4.

Charlie, David and I would walk by Discovery Carts: Coprolites and Prehistoric Life but there was so many people we wasn’t able to get up close. I let Charlie we would go back later and check out these Exhibits although we ran out of time and didn’t make back to these attractions. If you were at Dino-Fest and stopped by the carts can you let us know what you saw and if it was a lot of fun.

Gem Origami Lydia Hill Gems and Minerals Hall

Gem Origami Lydia Hill Gems and Minerals Hall which Charlie and David had seen before so we didn’t venture into here. Although I wanted to and will come back one day when I have time to look through the exhibit as I know I can make it up to Level 3 now and not have any issues. As for the elevator when you get out there is a Statue that looks like a Heart with purple gems inside it which I wish I could have brought home as it is so pretty both Charlie and I liked it a lot.

The last time we visited the Perot Museum David took a lot of pictures of the Gems for me and I was so jealous that I couldn’t bring myself to go to Level Three that I was extra proud of myself Saturday morning. Now I would like to ask my friends and family if you would like to go with me to the Perot Museum to check out Gem Origami Lydia Hill Gems and Minerals Hall?

Thank you,

Glenda, Charlie and David Cates
