Charlie needed a book to read next week for school. Last night we went out to Half Price Books because Charlie wanted to see if they had novels based on Pokemon.
Diary of A Wimpy Kid The Long Haul Published By Jeff Kinney
Unfortunately Half Price Books didn’t have books on Pokemon. I figured Charlie wouldn’t pick out a book to read. Although Charlie surprised me when he went and picked up Diary of A Wimpy Kid The Long Haul.
I had thought we had read all of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and owned most of the books but Charlie let me know we didn’t have Diary of A Wimpy Kid The Long Haul and Charlie hadn’t read this story. Which surprised me.
On the way home Charlie was so quite I thought he was sleeping but he wasn’t Charlie wasn’t he was reading Diary of A Wimpy Kid The Long Haul . As he finished the first two chapters Charlie let me know Diary of A Wimpy Kid The Long Haul would be a book I would want to read as well.
I can’t wait until this weekend because Charlie has said he will sit down and read Diary of A Wimpy Kid The Long Haul to me. Charlie thinks I will enjoy the storyline just as he did.
I can’t wait to see if David will sit down with us to listen to Diary of A Wimpy Kid The Long Haul. David is off all weekend. I believe that if David shows a interest in Charlie reading. Charlie will want to read more because he can help his dad learn how to read.
