As you all know Desra Harrington as I have shared her paintings with you a number of times on here. Today she has started a new aspect of her painting business that I would like to share with you. Desra has decided to venture into “Home Painting Parties” Like Painting with a Twist. This one is better as you will be helping women build her dream and her business if you book with her.
Here is the information on Desra’s classes and a couple of the paintings and more will be coming soon so stay tuned. With Valentines right around the corner, why not book a party for you and the ones you love. as the painting would be something you can always have.
I wish I had known about these businesses/ classes before I lost my daughter Suzzaneas I know she would have loved to have taken a class with her friends.
“LIGHT BULB” moment I could do this for Charlie’s next Birthday as he loves loves loves to paint. We could invite 4 or 5 of his friends over and they could paint something Desra shows then how to paint. As Charlie has always said he would like to be an Artist and Race Car Drive when he grows up.
In the meantime, here is the information for the painting classes and just so you know Desra is located in Keller, Texas so you must live in or around Dallas/ Fort Worth to book your painting party!!

I also have the party figured out on my pricing and details for home painting parties!!! 30$ for 5 guest or less and 25$ for over 5 guests! The hostess spot is free with over 5 guest and 5 or less host gets half off! Everyone keeps their paintings of course! Expect 2-3 hours depending on the difficulty of the painting and then the host gets to choose the theme they want for their party and also pick out one of the 2-3 painting choices that go along with that theme!
We can set up a private painting party event by invite only by the host and then be depending on the theme you will have to dress accordingly but not mandatory! Say you want to have a valentine party then you would dress to go with the theme and whoever dresses the craziest I will pick the winner and they will get a surprise gift!
If the host would like to furnish snacks that would be fine although the host doesn’t have to. It’s up to the Host whether or not you have alcoholic beverages or if it is BYOB! However, Desra’s Custom Paintings will not be liable for any damages or injuries at the home or guest leaving the premises to go to their residence!
The parties will evolve as you plan them. I will bring all that is needed! All monies will be collected via PayPal prior to the party will not be refunded if no show! The reason for this is the monies go to supplies for the party!

Overview of parties:
I had a dream about how I want to do my painting parties so here’s the idea! I am going to have home party choices for a theme too such as painting with musical chairs….. Team building type of party or just because we’re crazy like that! Couples home painting party where the husband and wife paint each other’s painting when a bell or music goes off! Then there is painting like kids where you paint with your fingers not paint brushes! As I said my painting business is evolving!!!!! Even in my dreams!!!!
