I thought you might like to learn about a new Spy Novel called Defector: Andy Flint Thriller Series (The Beginning) by Peter Kozmar (Author) that I received a PDF Copy of from the Author and Voracious Readers in exchange for this review. I usually do not read Spy Thrillers but I chose to because I thought it might be a story David would be interested in and get him to read for a change. I sat down and began to read Defector: Andy Flint Thriller Series which is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone. If you have a weak stomach which I don’t thank the LORD then this isn’t the novel for you.
Defector: Andy Flint Thriller Series is about a newbie American operative in Russia who manages to outwit the Russian who is out to get him! Andy Flint has to use many “friends” who either end up dead or beaten up!! Andy does manage to help the person he needs to help-even with all the Russians interference..
Defector: Andy Flint Thriller Series is filed not only with international intrigue but suspense and plenty of drama to keep you on the edge of your seat. This book takes on Andy Flints’ first case. Andy’s fellow agent Tex doesn’t have his head in the game and causes major problems with leads to Andy getting help from a business owner who has his own problems with a mobster.
That isn’t all there is also an offer in the FSB who is determined to get Andy and the defector. Here is a spoiler alert for you: There is a really big cliff hanger at the end which will definitely make you want to keep reading this series which I believe is more for men but someone women may enjoy the story as well.

Meet the Author: Peter Kozmar
Peter was born near Manchester in the North West of England. He studied Engineering at University where he joined the British Army.
During this time, he worked in Russia, Ukraine and a few other countries.
After reaching the rank of Major, he resigned his Commission and moved with his family to New Zealand where he led an active, outdoors life. However, a skiing accident released a lot of time. That’s how the writing started and allowed him to refocus and develop new skills.
Peter has written about Andy Flint, starting with The Beginning Series. These stories are initially set in 1993 and after the Beginning Series we move forward to find Andy Flint as he is today. A very different man.
Peter lives just outside Wellington, New Zealand. His kids have now left home leaving him with his wife and two mischievous Labrador’s, Brecon and Pembroke.
