This is a review for Decorated Curated Home a subscription box service who sent me there box for March in exchange for this review. Man, on man was I blessed with everyone inside this box.
Before I start showing you all of my goodies I would like to let you know Decorated Curated Home is a site you subscribe to and every season, they send you a limited edition box that contains timeless, high-quality décor. Subscribe quarterly or annually, and cancel anytime hassle-free.
The boxes ship every 3 months, right on time for a seasonal home refresh. For those of us that shop year round for Christmas Decorated Curated Home is the perfect way to get shopping done in a fun way without running around from store to store.
Not knowing what is inside each box will make your gift giving more unique and special because you will not know what is inside the boxes until they arrive.
I would like to give you a tip: You might want to pay for two subscriptions because from the gifts inside my box I don’t want to give them away I wanted to keep them for myself.
Before you say I wouldn’t know how to use the items they send us you wouldn’t have to worry because there is a our how-to booklet for ideas and placement suggestions.
Or have fun putting your own special touch on your new décor by having your family help you decorate your home. Charlie and I can do this for our Homeschooling Art Class. or Free Friday.
There was a card inside they box with info about the company and one I can’t wait to hang up on my wall which says Love Every Little Thing You Do. Which I think we should do everyday even on the days when it gets hard.
The other card said live in color and almost matched the art work I got. I would let Charlie hang this on our front door to remind us to always look for the color around us.
When we redo our living room and Suzzie’s Memory wall I would like to have these sayings put on the wall Suzzane’s in favorite color which is light pink and baby blue for Charlie. I wonder if grey walls would look okay?
The Art Magnets my friend Nancy could use in her art projects.b I’m going to keep the Art Magnets for mine and Charlie’s Art Class. Or for my office to hold the work I need to do.
They sent me a Magnet board to put the Art Magnets on. I can add a calendar or notes to the board. I would even use the Magnet board to hang Charlie’s Art work on or cards we get for special Holidays.
One of my favorite products was the metal lantern which I have set outside on the deck with a Citronella candle inside the metal lantern. David said the metal lantern will make a nice centerpiece for Christmas with Poinsettias around it and a candle.
The metal lantern is open so we can add different things to it to dress it up. I asked David if we could make glass for the metal lantern. Then I would turn it into a Terrarium. David said he would try and do this for me. I can’t wait.
There was a tabletop set of gold containers of different sizes and a tray for everything to sit on. You could display these together or make several decorations around your room using the tray and container.
I could see the containers on a desk holding pens and pencils and lose change. Or adding candles and putting them on the coffee table. While using the tray on your dresser to hold your combs and brushes keep the dresser neater.
If I am not careful I could see Charlie using the tabletop set in his clubhouse. Or even in his bedroom to hold the mini wrestlers and cars he collects. What can I say other than boys will be boys and they love there mom’s and want what they have.
Charlie saw the blue denim spring pillow covers I got and asked if he could put them on my couch pillows and used them in his clubbable. I let him know no, they are mind all mine and I’m not sharing.
Before you ask how did the pillows look on my couch I didn’t use them. I put them on my dads bed because I knew he would have liked them if he were here.
When I’m missing my mom, dad or Suzzie I can crawl into his bed and sleep or just go in there and hide when I need me time. And it’s the perfect place to go and read a book.
When we purchase our new couch I’m going to look one in this color so we can use the pillows in the living room. If Charlie hasn’t taken them over. Or David doesn’t give them to his mom for Mother’s Day.
Last not least was the burlap tote bag which is going to be perfect for a Beach Day or a casual day at work. I liked the leather strap in brown so I can put the bag on my should freeing my hands up.
On the outside of the burlap tote bag it says “It’s What’s Inside that counts” which is true not only with the bag but ourselves . This is a positive saying to share with others in this time of uncertainty.
Everything inside this box totals over $250 dollars. Which might sound expensive but is so worth it in so many ways. Even though this is way more than I spend on myself I would like to order another box for myself for either Mother’s Day or Christmas.
Thank you,
Glends, Charlie and David Cates
