Good morning, welcome to Easter. I know most everyone is getting ready for Easter dinner but Charlie and I were blessed last night. David took us out for Easter Dinner to Red Robin’s last night. This way we didn’t have to fight the crowds today and he wouldn’t be late to work.
Before I get to busy with Charlie I wanted to bring you our post for Daily Bizarre and Unique Calendar Holidays – May 3rd, 2021 in our latest series were sharing with you.
For Charlie its a day of rest and playing on his Game Station. I have declared our home a kid free zone this morning. For me I will be working throughout the day just like David.
But that is okay because the LORD has blessed me with my own company and the opportunity to take off when I want to. Which I did last week when we spent the day in Grapevine, Texas and Grand Prairie, Texas.
As I was looking at the Holiday for yesterday I had to chuckle because the Holiday was “Don’t Go to Work Unless it’s Fun Day” I actually didn’t even know this but I took most of the day off and watched TV and spent time with Charlie and his friends. Hence a make-up day today.
Don’t Go to Work Unless it’s Fun Day
We know your decision if I was to ask Charlie what he would want to do today he might say sleep in or play on his game which I already said he could do.
If this Holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday which this year it did then you might be off of work. Making this Holiday a easy one to participate in. an Otherwise, make sure you get your boss’ approval before you decide not to go to work. For me all I need to do is ask myself for the day off.
Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up in the morning and decide whether you will go to work? If it is going to be fun at work, you get up and go. Otherwise, you grab your family and find something fun to do today.
Employer Tip: To increase attendance today, we suggest you consider things that will make it fun to go to work.For my family later this afternoon Charlie and I will be setting up our YouTube office so we can begin our YouTube Channel soon.
Being find a Rainbow Day and it being so pretty outside I knew this wouldn’t happen. I found a coloring sheet for Charlie and I to color.
Then I picked up Lucky Charms for Breakfast because if you look on the box you see a Rainbow. Then Charlie and I found a book Rainbow Goblins about Rainbows to read together and we went to the park with a Picnic of Rainbow Sandwiches and Cookies.
Celebrates one of two things. Either it celebrates the warm, fashionable woolen clothing that originated in Scotland. Seemingly always in fashion, Tweed keeps you warm and looks good, too.
It should come as no surprise to learn that tweed is more popular in the north, and not often worn in the south. Charlie and I say Thank the Lord as we are not much for Tweed. Are you?
Or,…it celebrates the birthday of a corrupt , New York City politician. William Magear “Boss” Tweed, who was born on April 3, 1823. Which I hadn’t heard of until today and neither had Charlie.
Boss Tweed was a politician from NYC and a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, and a NY State Senator. His claim to fame was being convicted of graft and corruption, for stealing millions of dollars from NYC.
The problem with this theory is why have a special day for a convicted crook!? We ‘d like to believe that Tweed Day celebrates Tweed suits. Which reminds me of the Vaudeville Singers. Or Sherlock Holmes. How about you?
Yesterday was the perfect day for this Holiday because its the day before Easter and most of the World was celebrating or preparing to celebrate Easter today.
Come join Charlie and I and lets host a party for World Party Day. Bring your favorite beverage and snack to share with one of the guest. If you can bring your dogs to celebrate with us. Then lets meet at the park for a game of Touch Football.
If you need an excuse to have a party, today offers all the incentive you need. Get out the party hats. Open up the champagne or Apple Juice for the children. It’s World Party Day.
World Party Day was created with the premise that humans have the right to joy and peace through social positivity and fun. A concept of this day, is that peace is not the opposite of war. Rather, “Party” is the true opposite.
This day is intended to be a synchronized, world wide day of partying.
You can celebrate this day partying in any way you’d like, alone, or in groups. We encourage you to make it a day long party although, a shorter event is fine, too.
