The Mommies Reviews

April Fool’s Day– everyone should know its April 1st Day. Did you play any pranks on anyone you know? No, one in our family did. Although we could have came up with pranks to share in Homeschooling.

Happy April Fool's Day 2021: Share these hilarious memes that will instantly make your friends and

April Fool’s Day an opportunity for playing jokes or tricks on one another. The stranger or more absurd the better. The challenge to carry out a trick that is believable, for a little while. Tricks are most successful if played earlier in the day before a person is wise to what is going on. Younger children are also more gullible.

Any tricks or jokes must be harmless and in good taste for the unsuspecting “victim”. Before you begin pulling jokes I would suggest you think twice before pulling a prank on your boss.

Important: Jokes and gags must be harmless and fun they shouldn’t be dangerous or hurt anyone’s feelings. Give your jokes and gags thought before carrying them out.

Atheist Day

Atheist Day - Home | Facebook

Isn’t something my family would celebrate because we are not Atheist but I have knew some in my life. How about you are you or someone you know a Atheist?

Every religion around the world, has their share of special or holy days. For Atheists there isn’t a holy day for them to celebrate….no religion? Which is why today, is Atheist Day!

There are over 7 billion people on the planet. About 142 million Atheists.

The origin of Atheist Day did’nt arise in a normal way, with interested individuals instead, it evolved from an internet hoax. A lulu that took on a life of its own. Making this the premier example of fake news.

In 2003, an internet post was made, stating that a Florida man sought the help of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in an effort to get the courts to make a non-religion holiday for atheists. The judge ruled that April 1st (April Fool’s Day) is to be their (un)holy holiday. Voila, Atheist Day was born.

Even though this begun as a spoof, it seems only right atheists have their own day. Doesn’t “Freedom of Religion” also mean “Freedom from Religion”?

How to Celebrate Atheist Day

  • If your atheist, this is your special day to do as you see fit.
  • Their spiritual message is that there is no god. Atheists can celebrate no God today.
  • Atheism may appear to be controversial, it wouldn’t hurt to spend a little time understanding Atheism you do not have to become one I am just suggesting, you learn more about being a Atheist then if you meet someon you know how to treat them.
  • If you meet an atheist, give them respect.

International Fun at Work Day

International Fun at Work Day - Fun at Work Day graphics for Facebook, Tagged, Facebook, Tumblr, Hi5, Friendster blogs, tumbr, twitter, google+, google plus, pinterest, linkedin

Charlie and I did this earlier today. We decided to have a Jim Carey movie day. Even though he isn’t one of my favorite actors just spending time with Charlie with no, electronics was a Fun at Work Day.

Fun at Work Day is a day to have fun at work for once. Ideally, work should be fun. But normally, work is not intended to have fun. It’s intended to get work done.

You’re a very lucky person, if you if you can get work done and have fun doing it. The lucky souls in this situation, love their job.Which is Charlie and I on most days. Do you love your work?

Unfortunately, not all of us are lucky enough to have a job that’s fun to do. If that’s you, then today is a day just for you! Even if your work isn’t fun think of ways to make your job more fun and exciting.

Look to do some fun things at work today, even if it takes away from production just a wee bit. Including bringing snacks to work for your Co-Workers and have a small party during lunch.

If you do fun things that is counter-productive, or takes you away from the job, make sure you get your boss’ permission first. Better still, ask him or them how they would like to celebrate the holiday.

International Tatting Day

International Tatting Day 2019 – Wanda's Knotty Thoughts

Again this was a teaching moment for Charlie and I as. Because when I heard of Tatting I thought of a Tattoo and I knew Charlie and I would be getting on to celebrate this day. How about you?

Although, I couldn’t be more wrong Tatting Day has been celebrated internationally since the late 1990’s. April 1st is the International Tatting Day.

Tatting is the skill of making delicate, elegant tatted lace. It is enjoyed by thousands of people. I love LACE and before you ask me know I couldn’t make it if you paid me. Could you?

On this day, “tatters” around the world have different activities, mostly educational, to celebrate their hobby, and introduce it to others. Often, they celebrate by eating chocolates and making tatted lace.

Although, Charlie and I could look up how to make Lace and try it in our Homeschool Economics Class on Friday while eating Chocolate. Which would be my favorite part of the day.
