Curio Press Grocery List: Notepad

Review

This is another review for Curio Press who not only sent me the Gamer Notepad but the Grocery List: Notepad in exchange for this review.

Charlie homeschooling full time this year he will be taking a Home Economics Class and in this class Charlie has a Cooking Class 2 times a week. In the class Charlie has to create a meal plan and write out the grocery list and go shopping for those groceries.

Having a cell phone Charlie can do all that on the phone but I want Charlie to practice his reading and writing and not depend on the phone. Which is why I picked out the Grocery List: Notepad which any of us can use when writing out the shopping list.

As well as bringing it to the store to make sure we got everything on the list. Helping us stay on track and not purchase items we didn’t need. I like that the notepad is lined so Charlie can make sure the letters he is writing are above or below the line like they teach in school.

I piked out black letters because I knew Charlie and David would be using the Grocery List Notebook. If I were to pick out a girly color ie pink or lavender neither David or Charlie would want to use the grocery list. To make the notepad a little fancier I choose a script lettering which looks very fancy and classy.

Charlie reminded me the other day my mother in law Sherry always takes a notepad to the store with her. Granny Sherry was out of notepads the last time we went shopping with her. Charlie can’t wait to show her Curio Press website and help her pick out a notebook for her grocery shopping list.

Charlie has even had fun trying to decide what she will put on her notebook. If you were to ask Charlie he said she should put Granny Sherry because that is who she is and who she always will be. I asked Charlie what about Grandpa David and Charlie said he doesn’t do the shopping so he shouldn’t be on the notebook but we could purchase a unlined notepad for him to use in his truck because he is a Truck Driver and has to purchase lunch items for the week.

The Grocery List Notepad comes in two sizes which in a small notepad size 5×7 or 8×10 which is the perfect size for large families or someone throwing a party. Or even teachers who are shopping for the classroom. I can also see homeschooling mom’s stocking up on school supplies and snacks.
