It’s officially summer vacation for the kids, but your office is still down the hall. TheSoul Publishing’s viral video on 5 Minute Crafts is filled with fun hacks and crafts that will keep kids occupied on their own so you can continue to get your work done without the stress!
Below are a few ideas they shared with us:
· Do your kids lose interest in their crayons after they break them? Melting different colored crayons in a silicone mold will bring back the excitement for any of your young artists who enjoy their crayons.
· If you have a household filled with aspiring artists who love to paint, wrapping Velcro around the brushes and on to the surface can save you a couple of “uh-ohs” and clean up calls.
· For the older kids, introduce them to designing their own light décor. Using an exacto knife, create a design by cutting through the canvas. Then, line up the perimeter on the backside of the canvas with an LED Strip and watch your design come to life.
Create an easy dry erase coloring book for your creative kids by outlining a drawing on cardboard and laminating it.
Enjoy homemade flower paintings from your kids letting them using a fork as the paint brush to create a beautiful tulip garden.
Working late? Create a stencil of different animals, tape them on a flashlight and keep your kids occupied with a late night puppet show!
