I was so excited when Cracker Barrel reached out with a Press Release letting me know about a new store there opening in Fort Worth. Check out the information on the new store her. In the meantime I wanted to share the items Cracker Barrel Old Country Store was kind enough to send my family which was a true blessing.
In our Homeschool Class this week Charlie and I can prepare Cracker Barrel Buttermilk Pancake Mix using Cracker Barrels Pancake Mix for Granny Sherry and Papa. I liked that the instructions include a small batch, medium batch or large batch so you have enough Pancakes for everyone your feeding include hungry teenagers.
You can’t have Pancakes with out Syrup and they sent me a bottle of there Old Fashioned Syrup in a much bigger bottle than you get when dinning in the restaurant. But the tiny little bottles are so cute and make the perfect Stocking Stuffers and Gifts. I can’t wait to warm this Syrup up to pour on my Pancakes although I might just eat it straight out of the bottle because it taste so good. Which I wouldn’t really do. Would you?
Then there was the Old Fashion Peg Game which is on every table inside Cracker Barrel that my family always loves playing. Now we can practice at home and master the game and get it down to one peg. Which has been impossible in the past. Charlie loves the color of the pegs and let me know they look like golf tees which they do.
I know there will be many #FamilyGameNights when this new game is brought out to play. Not only that it is small enough to keep in the car when traveling and playing keeping Charlie off the electronics for just a little bit. Which is huge in our home because all kids seem to live on electronics and even parents at times which I hate.
It was also like the LORD answered our PRAYERS when they were putting together this goodie bag for us. Charlie has been asking to play Checkers and I needed to pick up a Checker’s game because ours is in storage and I couldn’t find it. Now we have the Mini Travel Checker Rug Game which comes with the checkers.
The Checker Rug Game is all in one piece game because once your finished playing you roll the checkers up inside the rug and place the game inside a drawer. Charlie let me know he wants to keep our game in the car and when were out running errands and have to wait we will have something to do.
David was so excited to hear that the Checker Rug Game would be kept in the car because on the days he is at work waiting on a Plane to come in he can play checkers with some of the employees at work. Which will make there wait go by that much faster. For me I would take the Checkers to the park when I am waking and we can take a break and I will be able to get more steps in. Would you like to play Checkers with us?
There is also a coffee mug that has a old fashioned Kerosene Lantern on it that reminds me of the Lanterns my parents have that are in our wash room. Making my parents closer to me. I thought I could keep the coffee cup but both Charlie and David have asked for and since they drink more Coffee than I do I will let them share the cup.
Then for Valentines I will pick up a second Coffee Mug if they have them online or in there store. Giving me a opportunity to go shopping and while there we can have dinner or lunch. Although until the new store in Fort Worth opens we will need to go to Meacham Street in Fort Worth or Grapevine, Texas.
last but not least they game us Candy Sticks which are something I always pick up for Charlie’s Christmas Stocking and now he will have some for Valentines Day. They sent me Gilliam Peppermint Stick, and Cherry which I know David would like. If you haven’t had a opportunity to try these Candy Stocks out you should look for them the next time your in Cracker Barrel as there is many different flavors.
