Country Critters Farm Pumpkin Patch

The Mommies Reviews

Last weekend we were given tickets to visit Country Critters Farm Pumpkin Patch in exchange for this post.

Charlie, David and I got up and dressed to head out to Country Critters Farm. Charlie had a friend Chris who had spent the night the night before. I called his parents to see if he would be able to attend with us.

Charlie was so excited because we were meeting Alyssa, my niece Lily and my nephew. Charlie couldn’t wait for them to meet Chris and spend time with them all.

Welcome, Country Critters Pumpkin Patch

I thought David might fuss a little bit because Country Critters Farm is in Alvarado but David didn’t mind going with us. David said that it would be the perfect way to get out of town for a while.

I’m so glad Country Critters Farm gave us the opportunity to visit the Pumpkin Patch because this is the last time we’ll be able to take Charlie and his friends to do things for a while.

On Tuesday morning David was Laid Off. I know I shouldn’t worry because God has other plans for us but its hard not to. This morning Charlie and David reminded me we have the Blog and in the past it’s carried us through tough times. I know that the blog can when I look back at all the events we have attended including Country Critters Farm.

I would like to thank the owners of Country Critters Farm a family owned business for inviting us out because we had so much fun. The kids haven’t stopped asking to come back.

Look what all you get

From playing on the grounds to going on a Hay Ride there was something for everyone. Charlie loved the Petting Zoo and Lily liked being able to ride the horses.

Jason even found a baby Goat he wanted to bring home with him. Charlie’s friend Chris was so excited to be able to pick out a Pumpkin to decorate which he hadn’t ever done.

Everywhere we looked there was something new and fun to do. From seeing a huge Tortoise Charlie found. To the giant Jinga game we played and Pumpkin Checkers to the Stick Horse for a race.

David, was excited to find the Snack Stand and be able to sample the Pumpkin Bread and even brought a loaf home with him for this weeks snacks.

For me I enjoyed just siting at the Picnic tables and watching the kids play in the Bounce House and going through the Maze. Jason even climbed over the Climbing Wall and was so excited he made it without any help.

Lily and Jason looked inside the Hen House and found a egg the chickens had laid. Then moved on to the play area and played on the train and even tried out the Sea Saw.

I can’t wait to return if its the Lords will and have a Picnic Lunch or purchase lunch and just spend the day in the country relaxing with my family. I wish one of the kids had a Birthday during October because it would be fun to have there Birthday party here.

There was a Llama that wouldn’t have anything to do with Alyssa or me but every time David would walk up the Llama would walk up to David and kiss him on the nose.
