Conversation Cards & Writing for Bliss: A Companion Journal

The Mommies Reviews

I would like to introduce you to a new client called New Leaf Distributors: They were kind enough to send me the following items a set of Conversation Cards which is a A thoughtful and engaging, family-friendly way to connect and Writing for Bliss: A Companion Journal which Charlie and I will be using together.

I looked through the deck of Conversation Cards this morning and how we would be able to use them in our family. I thought about using the cards with my girlfriends to get conversation going. Then I thought Charlie and I could use the cards in our Homeschool Class or I could use the subjects in Blogging. Instead I decided to use the cards to start conversation with my family each night at dinner.

I believe this set of Conversation Cards should be on everyone’s Coffee Table or dinning room table to get people to talk to each other and off there phones and electronics. The Conversation Cards will get everyone to talk to each other and allow them to get to know each other better and to allow them to talk about any problems they might have.. In our home every night before dinner we will chose a card to discuss with our family and I hope you will do the same.

JUST RELEASED!!

While it’s important to stay up-to-date on what’s happening in our world during these unprecedented times, many of us have grown desperate for conversation that doesn’t include the word “virus.” Connecting with our family and friends in a deeper, more relevant way has taken on new meaning.

The creator is a writer and workshop facilitator uniquely positioned to offer guidance and tools for aiding in the creation of meaningful conversations. To that end, she created a set of Conversation Cards for Meaningful Storytelling, based om her book Writing for Bliss, its Companion Journal and her series of workshops and courses.

Writing for Bliss: A Companion Journal: Diana Raab:

Writing for Bliss: A Companion Journal is the creative guidebook companion to the award-winning book Writing for Bliss: A Seven-Step Plan for Telling Your Story and Transforming Your Life. The workbook is developed for the seasoned storyteller as well as the emerging author. I liked finding out it’s a interactive journal designed to be used alone as a self-discovery workbook, or in conjunction with Writing for Bliss: A Seven-Step Plan for Telling Your Story and Transforming Your Life.

The book is full of lined pages and each page has a prompt for us to fill out. I printed out copies of the pages for David and Charlie to fill out as well. Then we placed them in folders to go back and look through at the end of the year. At the back of the book is extra pages for journaling which Charlie uses to draw on days he doesn’t want to write anything.

About the Journal:

Award-winning memoirist, poet, and teacher Diana Raab incorporates writing prompts, exploratory exercises, and inspirational quotes to lead you through the healing and transformational process of telling the story only you can tell–a story that is yours alone.

In Writing for Bliss: A Companion Journal, you will:

  • Find more than 184 pages of unique, actionable writing prompts and exercises
  • Move at your own pace–navigating the landscape of your life authentically, guided by Diana s gentle approach
  • Identify and explore pivotal life-changing scenes that have led you to this very moment
  • Heal your wounded self and transform your life through the writing process

Praise for the work of Diana Raab:

By listening to ourselves and being aware of what we are saying and feeling, the true story of our life’s past experience is revealed. Diana Raab’s book gives us the insights by which we can achieve this through her life-coaching wisdom and our writing.
