I was blessed when David took part of the day off yesterday to spend with me so we could visit a Farmers Market which was hosting there grand opening that morning. That evening we went to pick up Pizza and drinks for Charlie and Bradley. On our way home I remembered Clown Burger was hosting a Car Show only I thought it was next week. I looked up there Facebook page and saw it was happening last night.
Coming down Stanley Keller I asked David to turn to the left and he asked me why. I said I want to run up to the end of Stanley Keller for a minute. To get David to go I had to tell him there was a Car Show at Clown Burger. We headed up that way and saw a car going there even though it was 7pm and they shut the show down at 8pm.
The closer we got to Clown Burger the more disappointed David got because he didn’t see any cars but then we got to the light and the parking lot was full. Like a little kid David couldn’t wait to park and get out and walk around. But before he went to see the Cars David said he was going inside to get me a order of Chili Cheese Fries my all time favorite Fries.
Finally something that is older than me. LOL
We walked inside and I turned down a Hamburger even though I love them so I could have a large order of Fries and they was just as good as I remembered. I thought I would have some left for the next day but I didn’t I ate them all and no, I didn’t share them and no, I don’t feel bad about not sharing.
Then David and I went and walked through the Parking Lot and there was so many cars I wanted to bring home with me. Especially the Mustangs which one day I will have a 64 1/2 and be able to show it at Car Shows until then I will be able to attend awesome events like this one. I can’t wait to see if they host other Car Shows because Charlie and Bradley want to come with us next time.
If your Homeschooling like I am Car Shows are a fun family Field Trip to take your families to. Children can study the make and model of the cars. talk to the owners about restoring cars and even purchase there own car to work on giving them a class like Autho Body which Haltom High School had back in the day.
