This is a review for a new children’s book Christmas Mouse: Finger Puppet Book Published by: Emily Dove which I received in exchange for a spot in our Christmas Gift Guide and a Review.
I was going to sit down this morning and read the story inside but before I could I became fascinated with the Finger Puppet and couldn’t stop playing with the Mouse. I loved his Christmas Hat and when I showed Charlie the Mouse he had fun making up new stories for our Mouse to go on.
I enjoyed the story and so did Charlie who read the book to my niece Dixie who is almost 3 and she sat through the whole story and asked Charlie to re-read the book once he finished. Charlie let me know he enjoyed the plot a lot and would like to find more of these books.
I agreed with Charlie as they would make wonderful Stocking Stuffers or we could use the book for Tags on presents were wrapping up to give to the children in our lives. Charlie even said we should include fabric so the kids could dress up there mouse in other clothes.
Before you ask no, the Mouse doesn’t come off the book but if you use your impanation you can dress your mouse and take him on tricks just like the Paper Dolls we played with when we were children.
