I would like to share Raw Spice Bar who sent me Hawaii Coffee Blend in exchange for a review.
With Charlie taking a Home Economics Class this year with Cooking as one of his courses I wanted to find unique spices and cooking utensils for Charlie. Which is why you will find inside our Christmas Gift Guide 23: Raw Spice Bar a Spice subscription company who sent my family Hawaij Coffee Blend and a recipe to try out.
I was trying to decide if I wanted to put the Spice inside Charlie’s Christmas Stocking or give it to him know to try and if we liked the Spice order more. Or use it on Halloween and make Hawaii (for coffee): Honey Cake to serve at Charlie’s Halloween party. Which I haven’t decided yet. But I wanted to go ahead and share the company with you so you can check into it for your Holiday Gift Giving.
Hawaij for Coffee is a traditional spice blend originating from Yemen. It is specifically used to enhance the flavor of coffee and is commonly employed in Yemeni and Israeli cuisine. The word “Hawaij” translates to “mixture” or “blend” in Arabic, highlighting the combination of various aromatic spices that make up this particular blend.
While Hawaij can refer to a few different spice mixtures used in Yemeni cooking, Hawaij for Coffee is specifically formulated for enhancing the taste of Coffee and Cakes. It is characterized by its warm and fragrant profile, with a blend of spices that complements the natural flavors of Coffee beans.
The exact composition of Hawaij for Coffee can vary slightly depending on regional preferences and individual recipes. However, it typically includes a combination of ground cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, and sometimes cloves or nutmeg. These spices add depth, warmth, and a touch of sweetness to the coffee, elevating its aroma and taste
